New users had no way of learning that T3 Code sends anonymous usage data, and the app never linked to the privacy policy.

  • Onboarding: the first wizard step now has a short note under the computer list: "T3 Code collects anonymous usage data to help us improve it. To read more about how your data is used and how to opt out, see our privacy policy." There's no toggle, as agreed, and the opt-out details (T3CODE_TELEMETRY_ENABLED=false) live in the policy. On narrow screens the note sits under the Continue button.
  • Settings › About: a new "Privacy policy" row with a View policy button. It's also searchable from settings search (privacy, telemetry, analytics, …).

Both links open https://t3.codes/privacy-policy in a new tab. Desktop's window-open handler sends that to the system browser.

Depends on #16563 (desktop honours the opt-out from the shell profile) and #16562 (the policy actually describes this data).

Verification

  • vp lint on the touched files reports no new findings. apps/web typecheck passes.
  • Checked in the web dev client at 1280px and 390px.
  • Mobile already has Settings › Legal, which links the policy. Mobile has no onboarding wizard, so there's nothing to change there.

Approvability

Verdict: Approved at 2e66d5d

Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — The changes add a static anonymous-usage disclosure, external privacy-policy links, and a searchable settings entry, with only minor responsive layout adjustments. They do not alter telemetry collection, defaults, data flows, or other production behavior.

Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to 2e66d

Users may understand “anonymous” to mean their usage events cannot be linked over time. Align the wording with the telemetry behavior; this is a bounded disclosure risk rather than a demonstrated runtime failure.

* fix(server): Claude limits load again for users with large transcript histories (pingdotgg#16358)

The Claude capabilities probe now asks for usage with skipBehaviors, so it no longer scans every local transcript and misses its 4 s deadline. Takes over pingdotgg#14456.

* fix(server): threads settle as soon as a client sees their PR merge (pingdotgg#16761)

* feat(server, web, mobile): agents see snooze state and link to threads (pingdotgg#16782)

* fix(release): Forgejo build resolves version-qualified catalog overrides

Upstream now pins overrides such as undici@^8 to the catalog; the packaging
script looked up the whole selector and failed. Mirrors upstream pingdotgg#16411.

* fix(server): HTML renders and PDFs load behind a proxy that forbids framing

Clients frame asset documents from the environment's origin, which is
often not their own. A reverse proxy that adds X-Frame-Options: SAMEORIGIN
blanked every HTML render and PDF preview in that setup. Inline HTML and
PDF asset responses now carry `frame-ancestors *`, which browsers honour
in place of X-Frame-Options.

* fix(server): desktop renderer may frame asset documents

CSP's `*` matches only http(s) ancestors, so the desktop app's custom
scheme origins are listed explicitly.
