Summary

App edit, creation, duplication, and conversion dialogs use combined name/icon headings as labels for a single name input. This change gives those combinations a Fieldset/FieldsetLegend, names the input independently as “App name,” and keeps IconPicker outside the name Field. Existing draft, submission, validation, and dialog lifetimes remain with their current owners.

Also associate the Studio edit dialog’s answer-icon switch with its visible label and description, associate the blank-app creation description label with its textarea, and replace the duplicate dialog’s misleading icon-button name with “Choose icon.” Add the app-name label in all 25 locales and regenerate i18n types. The shared IconPicker implementation is unchanged.

Validation

• All 95 tests in the five affected suites passed. Re-ran the 23 duplication/conversion tests after strengthening their group/name assertions; all passed.
• vp run -w check passed with existing repository warnings and no errors.
• pnpm -C web i18n:check-types and git diff --check passed.
• Chrome at localhost:3000: verified group/control names, description-label focus, answer-icon label activation, blank-name error association, creation button enablement, and nested picker focus restoration. No business data was saved.
• Measured the Studio edit, blank creation, and list duplication dialogs before/after: dialog dimensions and name/icon/description control geometry are unchanged. Verified actual content scrolling and visible footer actions at 640×240 in the duplicate dialog.
• Conversion submission, validation, and pending states are covered by automated tests; a live conversion was not performed.

I couldn’t resolve the conflicts because the local shell is blocked by a repository pre-tool hook error, including for read-only Git status checks. No changes were made; I’ll need shell access restored to safely merge main.

Reviewed the app dialog field/group labels and resolved the conflict with the consolidated duplicate-dialog test on main. All 80 tests across the five affected suites pass. Repository static checks, i18n type validation, and git diff checks pass.

Verified the integration tests use the separate app-name label. The stale build-refresh race test now advances its delayed refreshes with controlled timers. All 215 tests across the 10 affected suites and the complete repository static checks pass locally.
