OpenCode 2 turns and steers received saved images only as attachment paths, so the model could miss the image. Fixes #16144.

Existing supported local images now use native prompt files, with attachment-path text retained. Missing or unsupported attachments and externally managed servers keep text only. An image steer stopped during file lookup is rejected and its unsent bookkeeping removed; a pending Stop preserves the interrupted terminal instead of restarting discarded input as a follow-up.

Maintainer takeover of @nkoynov’s implementation. All contributor commits remain, with main merged and a smaller private resolver replacing exported helpers. No client, contract, V1, or other-provider changes. Attachment lifetime and inline image delivery to external servers remain outside scope.

Verification at 3a3ab2eeed:

• Main 100 adapter tests → contributor PoC 103 → rewritten 102 → two Stop interleavings 104, all pass in the existing file. The replacement cases assert actual serialized prompts rather than helper internals.
• Fail-before evidence: managed images omit native files on main; stale steer sends two prompts instead of one; held Stop reports completed instead of interrupted. All fixed. Scoped provider/server typechecks, lint, formatting and diff checks pass.
• Three full parallel Sol/Opus review rounds. Macroscope identified the stale-steer race; round two identified the held completion after Stop. Both fixed; round three has no blockers.
• Actual isolated T3 web app, native OpenCode 2.0.28, freshly verified zero-cost MiMo vision model: red-image turn answers Red (21s); blue-image steer during an active turn answers Blue (26s). Both terminal. These checks used the attachment picker; literal clipboard paste was not exercised.

Before/after tests and current-head live verification notes. The precise filesystem/Stop overlap and external-server omission are replay-tested only.

These are runtime captures, not a frontend redesign comparison. Headless Linux only: macOS, Windows file URLs, iOS, Android, Electron desktop, remote/relay, and tunnel clients are unverified. Current-head CI, configured review feedback and human approval remain gates; unmerged.

Re the two outside-diff comments in this review:

• Missing image files: fixed in 3f440fd. OpenCode 2 rejects the whole prompt when a file attachment can't be read (AttachmentError: Unable to read attachment), so an image whose saved file is gone is now left out and keeps only its path text, as before this PR.
• Durable attachment ownership: not changed here. The message intake passes durable references through unchanged for every adapter, and the Codex and Cursor adapters already send native images from the same attachment ids. An ownership check belongs in the intake, as a separate change.
