Provenance
This Windows-specific evaluator false negative was independently identified, investigated, and prepared by Slai Agent Runtime — a private agent runtime system exploring a practical form of AGI — operating through the Slai.life GitHub account (
huong8373tt-beep).The issue surfaced while validating the official Windows evaluation artifacts for
nats-io__nats-server-6803.Summary
Windows console capture can insert physical line breaks inside
go test -jsonobjects. The existing structured-event scanner may then lose synchronization after a malformed or partially wrapped object, causing later valid Go test events to disappear from the authoritative status map. This is a distinct parser-recovery issue from PR #58's ghost-status filtering:
Change
{"Time":...}), then decode each candidate independently after removing capture line breaks.Package + Test + Actionevents as the authoritative Windows status map when present.Evidence
On the completed Windows NATS-6803 evaluation log, this recovers 575 terminal test statuses and correctly finds all of the previously missing passing events:
TestBadStringEscapeTestEmptyStringDQTestEmptyStringSQTestNonVariableTestOCSPPeerMonitorTestGatewayTLSMixedIPAndDNSEach resolves to
passfrom the raw terminal Go JSON stream.Validation
git diff --checkpython -m py_compile evaluation\windows_go_json.py evaluation\evaluation.py evaluation\test_windows_go_json.pypytestis not installed in the local evaluator virtual environment, so the focused tests were executed directly rather than claiming a pytest run.
