fix(gui): cut the LazyCodex role section copy to what a user acts on - #6968
LilMGenius wants to merge 6 commits into
Conversation
- The title drops the repeated "Codex agent", the hint names the two files a save writes and what Inherit effort leaves to Codex, the omo.jsonc notices and the auto-assign hint say the same in fewer words, and the Current column, which also shows the effort, is "Current"; every locale follows
- The omo.jsonc comments test asserted the old wording of both notices

- The hint promised an omo.jsonc update on every save, while the notices cover saves that leave it absent, untouched, invalid or unwritten; every locale follows
|
Thanks, that's right: the hint promised an omo.jsonc update on every save, while the notices cover saves that leave it absent, untouched, invalid or unwritten. Fixed in 77e4f64: in all 11 locales the hint now says a save updates the role file, and LazyCodex's omo.jsonc when it can be safely rewritten. |

Scoped copy review at 57f0a3e2fd75bd1b0dffab45db3ae671172615c3: the changed-file list is 11 existing locale modules plus the two updated English notice assertions, with no runtime or component implementation changes. The English/Korean copy retains the important promises: effort inheritance is Codex-owned, a comment-preserving omo skip does not undo the role-file save, and auto-assignment changes nothing before Apply.
I found no concrete behavioral contradiction in those reviewed strings. This is not independent certification of all locale phrasing or rendered screenshot/platform acceptance; the 99-test/build results and screenshots remain the author's evidence, not tests I reran. Final UI wording remains an owner decision. The latest displayed gate still says Draft/0-of-4 while the description now ticks four boxes; let the current readiness workflow reconcile that head rather than treating body ticks as a waiver. No UI edit, build, scan, readiness mutation or approval was performed here.

…at it did - The notice read as past tense though the file was left unchanged; it also takes the formal address the German locale uses
|
Thanks, the German notice read as past tense ("verloren gingen") even though omo.jsonc was left unchanged. Fixed in 7f2543f: it now says the comments "verloren gehen würden" and that the file therefore stayed unchanged, and it uses the formal "Sie" like the rest of the German locale. The other ten locales already use conditional wording. |

LazyCodexRoleModels.tsx:30maps everyinvalidresult toomoInvalid. The writer also returnsinvalidfor malformed JSON, non-object roots, non-object[codex]values, and non-object role entries. Therefore, the current message can falsely claim that[codex].agentsis not an object. Update this key in all locales to describe invalid or unsupported JSON structure without naming one specific cause.Suggested fix
- "integrations.lazycodexRoles.omoInvalid": "{role} now runs on {model}. omo.jsonc was left alone because its [codex].agents is not a JSON object.", + "integrations.lazycodexRoles.omoInvalid": "{role} now runs on {model}. omo.jsonc was left alone because it is not valid JSON or does not have the expected object structure.",Apply the equivalent wording change to the same key in the other locale files.

Follow-up source review on 78f75273d5 relative to my 57f0a3e2f review: the actual delta is 11 locale files only (12 additions/12 removals), with no writer or test implementation change. English/Korean invalid-shape wording now covers malformed JSON and non-object root/codex/agents/role nodes instead of incorrectly blaming only agents. The German comment-loss text is conditional and says the file remained unchanged. The role/model placeholders and saved-role outcome are preserved.
No repeat local test/build on this copy-only delta while foreign builds are active. I am not certifying every language's idiom or rendered UI, and final copy acceptance remains the owner's. No scans, workflow approval, merge or UI implementation was performed.

Summary
The omo tab's LazyCodex role section explains more than a user acts on. Its hint says which line of which file a save rewrites and when the mirror is skipped, though the notices already say that at the moment it happens. Its title repeats "Codex agent", and the column that now shows model and effort is still called "Current model". This PR shortens that copy. Behavior is unchanged.
