Preserve MCP and OpenCode image outputs so tool details show screenshots before their inputs. Highlight HTML preview input and valid JSON arguments and results across clients, while keeping native file text readable. Sanitize CI test logs to avoid a Unicode runner crash without changing test exit codes. Validation: all CI checks passed, 729 affected tests and the full 156-test Pi suite passed locally, web and iOS details verified. Model: GPT 6.1 Sol. Harness: Codex.

Add 8 px edge padding to usage breakdown tables shared by Cost and Tokens. Align thread status text and actions to a common baseline while keeping icons centered. Validated with check:changed, CI, usage-table before/after browser captures, and actual ThreadNow component captures at 100% and 91% CSS zoom. No behavior or calculation changes. Model: GPT 6.1 Sol. Harness: Codex in T3 Code.

Brings in the 197 upstream commits after cefb544. Conflicts resolved: - PeerLinks: kept the fork's fenced trusted-origin probe in list and resolve, and added upstream's label refresh (withLabel) on both paths. The new upstream rename tests in PeerLinks and PeerMcpClient now run over HTTPS like the rest of the fork's peer tests. Restored the PeerLinkStatus import upstream dropped. - OrchestratorMcpService: moved upstream's per-project provider enablement check into the fork's shared providerCapabilities helper, which takes the caller's project id. - AgentAwarenessRelay test: kept the fork's coordination stubs and took upstream's getAgentAwarenessSnapshot fake. - threadLinks: took upstream's replaceThreadLinks API and kept the fork's rule that an unresolved thread link stays a link. Updated the upstream test and doc comment to match. - inlineSkills test: kept the fork's spoken-skill tests. The upstream matchInlineSkills test now expects the fork's match before punctuation. - serverSettings: kept withDefaultProviderInstanceHomes and took upstream's observability-only decoder. - voice-input controller: merged both import lists. - Mobile settings: Keyboard and Microphone pages show on both platforms. The Keyboard screen keeps its Platform import for the Android label. - HomeScreen imports, keybindings doc (rightPanelOpen and isMac), and pnpm-lock patch hashes (one from each side) combine both sides.
[High impact] The merge changes behavior across server, mobile, web, and command-line workflows. Fix launch retries after event pruning and protect local reference files before merging. SummaryMerges upstream changes across server, web, mobile, providers, and reference repositories.

Note Written by Both points come from upstream code that this merge carries unchanged, so this PR leaves them as they are. Launch retries after event pruning. Upstream pingdotgg#29806 prunes events older than a day and keeps command receipts. A Local reference files. |
Why
The fork was 197 commits behind upstream
main. This merges upstream through8b44f42bwith a merge commit, so the next sync starts from here and doesn't conflict on the same files again. What changed
t3_capabilities.Scope
mainonly. The carried upstream PRs are unchanged, because none moved or merged upstream.mainuses[skip ci]so it does not publish a nightly.Tradeoffs
Peer links keep the fork's single fenced trusted origin instead of upstream's probe of every saved URL. Upstream's label refresh now runs on that one origin.
Blast Radius
Server, web, and mobile all take upstream changes. The riskiest area is linked peers, where the fork and upstream diverged most. The PeerLinks and PeerMcpClient suites cover it.
Verification
vp run typecheckpasses across all 40 packages on nixbox.vp test run apps/server/src/peer/and the eight test files beside the conflicts pass.ClaudeAdapterV2.test.tsfailed once in the full run and passed three times alone.vp run check:changedpasses format, lint, knip, and the React compiler. Browser tests could not start on nixbox, which has no Playwright browsers, so this PR's CI covers them.Model and harness: Claude Opus 5.5 (merge, conflict resolution, verification) via Claude Code in T3 Code.
