What: Backport Expo's Swift 6.4 interface repair to the existing expo-modules-jsi@58.0.7 dependency.
Why: The producer strips compiler placeholder conformances but leaves unavailable annotations attached to Bool, blocking the authorized iOS archive.
So what: The parent reviews this draft and proves fresh device/simulator consumers before continuing the internal TestFlight catch-up.

Follow-up to PR #209, refs #370. This supports the Objective by restoring the native build path for the mobile client used to direct Promachos, Wight, Drafters and Spectrum. Issue #370 stays open until native delivery acceptance.

Carries all three runtime-file changes from Expo PR #51234, merged commit 2b2ac6cef09a95b09e3c60ee87dc547e3823b181, through the existing pnpm patchedDependencies mechanism. The four internal generic conformances gain SPI annotations, and the producer removes only unavailable annotations paired with stripped placeholder declarations. No package version changes, broad Expo update, consumer workaround or Connect policy change.

Upstream first: current T3 main uses expo-modules-jsi@58.0.14; bounded open-PR search for expo-modules-jsi and issue search for JavaScriptRepresentable found no direct small fix. This backport preserves older 58.0.7 code outside the merged fix's hunks, including its existing string conversion and build options.

Candidate 3caa62c7c841715988ce971e4445c696d498e488, tree 4c65fae20afe7b2dffe3c72a8bcb362024acda8c, based directly on delivered 24a95b011e9aee4b72eac9ab3dc4f78d20fbc59a.

Validation on Node 24.13.1 / pnpm 11.10.0:

  • Exact upstream runtime hunks apply cleanly; frozen install resolves the patched package through Expo core, with all three installed outputs matching the independently applied backport.
  • Actual old/new stripper programs run on the retained raw Swift 6.4 interface: old output incorrectly marks Bool unavailable; new output removes exactly eight orphan annotations. Intentional standalone/platform/message unavailability remains, along with existing C++ and placeholder cleanup behavior.
  • 31 focused tests pass across mobile identity and fork-maintenance tests; resolved public config stays byte-identical to delivered 24a95b011e with the identity switch off in development/preview/production, with optional Connect absent or present. Canonical production identity, OTA isolation and optional Connect behavior pass.
  • Patched builder shell syntax and scoped formatting pass. Current Fork Stack Model passes on the final head: 42 owners, 111 merge-free commits above pinned native upstream.

Native Swift consumer compilation, fresh Xcode archive/export/signing, simulator proof and TestFlight upload are not run by this source worker. The draft remains pending independent exact-head review, CI and parent-owned native proof. Rebuild both native JSI slices from the patched package and use fresh app DerivedData; preserve failed build 4 evidence. Package cleanup alone does not clear an EXPO_CUSTOM_BUILD_ROOT, so any custom producer root must be explicitly isolated or invalidated as well. Optional production Connect inputs remain expected.

Requirements and who asked: User authorizes the exact-source native TestFlight catch-up and this bounded producer backport for the observed archive failure.
Deleted: Blind retry, broad dependency absorption, consumer workaround, Connect stripping, version bumps and unreviewed native release.
Bottleneck: Malformed Swift 6.4 public interface and the need to prove fresh device/simulator consumers without reusing the bad cached device slice.
Checked myself: Failed-build interface and installed input evidence, complete merged Expo diff/current upstream source, exact hunk application, real stripper behavior, frozen install/package resolution, scoped identity/config/owner checks.

Release Smoke / frozen R3 response: the actual fixture includes all 33 workspace projects, including mobile, and deletes its lockfile. Core's transitive ~58.0.7 range can freshly resolve beyond the mandatory exact-version patch. Added an existing-pattern workspace override for JSI58.0.7, matching the frozen dependency; the generated lock adds only that override line. The native patch and all three installed runtime files are unchanged. No patch filtering or unused-patch validation exception is introduced. Upstream's merged PR #11426 fixes the same fresh-resolution failure for another exact-version mobile patch through pinning.

The unchanged actual node scripts/release-smoke.ts reproduces the exact unused-JSI-patch failure before this constraint and passes afterward, including lock regeneration. Current frozen install, actual patched-package resolution, scoped format and Fork Stack Model also pass. The lock's importers/package/snapshot bytes and original 13 proof digests remain intact; reuse of prior native-source proof is based on that explicit input equivalence. Frozen R3 remains REQUEST CHANGES at23598b4; this new head still needs independent review and parent-owned CI/native proof. The precise newer JSI version from the failing CI resolution remains unspecified.

Model and harness: GPT-6.1 Sol, medium effort, Codex through T3 Code.

Carry the three runtime-file changes from Expo PR51234 through pnpm patchedDependencies without changing package versions. Preserve optional Connect and the delivered native identity.

Pin the already locked expo-modules-jsi58.0.7 through the existing workspace override mechanism. Release Smoke copies the full workspace and deletes its lockfile; the upstream transitive range otherwise selects a newer JSI version and leaves the exact patch unused.

What: Independent R3 review requests changes at23598b4336039187b806716a8d8a4dd90cb83f60.
Why: Fresh dependency resolution can leave the mandatory exact-version JSI patch unused, breaking Release Smoke.
So what: The source worker is correcting the resolution policy; a new exact-head review and native proof are required before landing.

Reviewer findings and verdict follow unchanged. This supersedes the coordinator's earlier description of omitted mobile manifests: Release Smoke includes all33 workspace projects.

Independent exact-head review R3

Verdict: REQUEST CHANGES at 23598b4336039187b806716a8d8a4dd90cb83f60. One confirmed blocking dependency-registration regression breaks Release Smoke. No additional supported code defect emerged in the inspected backport, public conformance owners or cache mechanism. Pending native proof is a separate delivery gate, not a second source finding.

Owner: Issue #370, PR #373; preserved desktop/server outcome PR #371. Reviewer: GPT-6.1 Sol, high effort, Codex through T3 Code. No authorship or delegation. Parent relays this report and exact-SHA verdict/status unchanged.

Candidate and boundary

  • Exact base: 24a95b011e9aee4b72eac9ab3dc4f78d20fbc59a.
  • Exact head: 23598b4336039187b806716a8d8a4dd90cb83f60.
  • Verified tree: 112d809483d124eac2074f3417e41644b3aa833c.
  • Candidate reads used only explicit git show/git diff objects through /home/luke/.t3/worktrees/chromeria/fix-370-mobile-identity-209. No moving worktree source, branch switch, pull, reset or checkout was used. The stale coordinator checkout and canonical main were not changed.
  • Read the complete five-file delta, current canonical Operations verification/review/impact procedures, supplied project instructions/direction, Great Library README, prior R1/R2 reviews, identity implementation handoff and current backport/native-failure handoffs. The review remains frozen after the parent announced that the source worker resumed. No subsequent candidate or repair is reviewed here.

This slice repairs the native interface producer needed for the authorized mobile catch-up. It preserves the accepted base's identity and optional Connect behavior and introduces no architecture, feature, package-version or Project Direction change. R1's missing identity was resolved at the R2 base; its historical Connect caveat does not override final209 or the parent's correction that production Connect inputs are present.

Required finding

P1: Mandatory version-specific patch breaks lockfile regeneration

Location: pnpm-workspace.yaml:288. Reachable consumer: scripts/release-smoke.ts:236, followed by the install at line 238.

The new expo-modules-jsi@58.0.7 registration is mandatory, while the transitive dependency is a range. The official expo-modules-core@58.0.11 manifest declares expo-modules-jsi: ~58.0.7; the workspace adds no corresponding resolution constraint. A frozen install uses the committed patched 58.0.7 snapshot successfully. A fresh resolution can select a later matching JSI version and leave this exact-version patch unused, which pnpm treats as an error.

Release Smoke reaches precisely that second path: it copies workspace manifests and patches, updates the four release package versions, deletes its copied lockfile, then runs vp install --lockfile-only --ignore-scripts. The fixture includes mobile manifests and logs Scope: all 33 workspace projects; the source does not support attributing this failure merely to omission of mobile from a desktop-only fixture.

The parent's retained jsi-release-smoke-ci.log confirms the failure:

[ERR_PNPM_UNUSED_PATCH] The following patches were not used: expo-modules-jsi@58.0.7
Error: Command failed: vp install --lockfile-only --ignore-scripts
at .../scripts/release-smoke.ts:238:20

I independently read the frozen consumer and failure log, and queried the actual failed check: head_sha is the reviewed head and conclusion is failure. Its checkout log identifies synthetic merge 9634c28d4db5c7d30a74b379612c287463138005, merging this head into exact base24a. The log does not identify which newer JSI version fresh resolution selected, so that remains unspecified.

Required correction: make the intended patch/version policy compatible with this existing lock-regeneration path while preserving application of the fix to the frozen native dependency. Retain strict patch validation; do not mask the failure by skipping Release Smoke or broadly ignoring unused patches. Prove the real lock-regeneration consumer as well as the canonical frozen native dependency path on the repaired candidate, then obtain a new exact-head review. The parent has already assigned the repair; this reviewer changes nothing and does not review that continuation.

Cleared concerns in the inspected runtime backport

Provenance and adaptation. Fresh official Expo API reads confirm PR #51234 merged on October 8 at 2b2ac6cef09a95b09e3c60ee87dc547e3823b181, parent 2e07e36414c16792d9f5844da52a6c319edb9129. All three runtime hunk bodies match the fresh commit and retained complete upstream diff. The candidate patch equals that retained runtime diff with only package-relative paths; Expo's release changeset is appropriately excluded. I independently fetched official npm 58.0.7 into memory, verified its SHA-512 against registry metadata and the candidate lock, and compared all three original files with retained before/ bytes. Matching hunk contents map those exact originals to retained after/ bytes. Later unrelated upstream string/builder changes are not imported. Upstream line offsets differ from 58.0.7, so whole-file or numeric-line equality would be an invalid oracle.

Dependency resolution. Independently verified all five candidate file SHA-256 values, all 13 manifest proof digests and all three retained patched output digests. The patch SHA-256 equals the lock's patchedDependencies hash and both affected snapshot references. The retained actual resolver probes mobile -> Expo -> core -> JSI and reports the patched physical 58.0.7 package; its script compares all three installed runtime files to the patched originals. This supports the frozen Linux resolution path, not Rocky's generated Pods or Release Smoke's fresh resolution.

Unavailable declarations. The failed archive log shows ExpoSQLite's macro-generated setProperty("enumerable", value: true) exposing the unavailable Bool conformance. The retained raw Swift6.4 interface contains unavailable placeholder conformances immediately before Bool. I inspected the actual old/new stripper programs, proof script, fixture, real raw interface and retained outputs. Old output leaves the two annotations on Bool; new output removes eight orphan annotations overall, and those eight lines are the only retained real-output difference. The new sed branch removes the paired annotation only when its next consumed line contains the placeholder marker. The retained guard fixture preserves ordinary unavailable declarations and platform/message availability annotations. These are GNU sed/source observations, not execution on BSD sed or compilation of the generated interface.

SPI and exports. The four annotations affect conformances to internal JSIRepresentable, whose C++-dependent constraints should not be public API. The pinned package's separate public JavaScriptRepresentable conformances for Optional, Array and Dictionary remain unchanged; JavaScriptRef's public conformance is likewise a distinct preceding extension. Bool's conformance and conversion implementations are unchanged. This is consistent with hiding the invalid internal placeholder conformances without removing the intended public generic API. Native compiler/importer confirmation remains required.

Scope and proof. The remaining changes register the patch and update its existing fork owner/map references. Identity, OTA, optional Connect, capability/configuration, desktop/server runtime, contracts and providers are unchanged by the exact delta. Retained focused logs report 31 passing tests in two files, and config proof reports six switch-off byte-equivalent cases plus two canonical identity cases. Those tests/config checks do not compile the producer or certify complete current CI. R2/base CI and the prior simulator observations remain historical evidence with their existing limits.

Cache/retry objections and required native gate

No new source-level cache defect is supported by the inspected builder. Its hash includes both changed Swift source files, the changed builder script, toolchain version, JSI headers and relevant package/path inputs. However, build4 demonstrably consumed an older device slice while simulator work rebuilt another slice. A simulator-only pass or a cached device no-op cannot establish this repair.

The separate Rocky continuation must bind its native evidence to the intended source and installed patch digests, verify the generated Pod producer source root resolves the patched physical package, preserve failed-build evidence, invalidate the producer's task-owned slices/intermediates and use fresh application DerivedData. The package's clear-caches.sh clears its default package root; EXPO_CUSTOM_BUILD_ROOT, if set, needs explicit matching invalidation or a fresh empty root. Do not rely on default cleanup to clear a custom root. Do not clean global user caches or rewrite a cached interface in place. Do not repeat --clean between device and simulator builds, which would discard the preceding slice.

Required native gate: freshly build both iphoneos and iphonesimulator producer slices with Xcode27.1/Swift6.4, retain build/source/interface identities, inspect generated public interfaces for available Bool and preserved public generic conformances/unrelated intentional unavailability, compile an imported Swift consumer against the new device slice, and force the actual ExpoSQLite macro consumer to compile in fresh app DerivedData. Native logs must demonstrate real slice compilation, not xcframework slices up to date, skipping build. No Linux source check supplies this gate. It remains pending and separately owned, without delaying this source verdict.

After repair, new exact-head review and required CI/native proof, the parent still owns the canonical exact-merged-source archive, signing/export and IPA digest/provenance, embedded identity/OTA/capability inspection, authorized upload, App Store Connect VALID processing and availability to the existing internal tester/group. Keep production optional Connect inputs as intended. Failed build4 produced no IPA/upload, and prior builds' validity is no substitute. Previous native observations cover only their recorded core navigation/thread/composer/image/video cases; this review adds no provider/cloud, physical-device or disabled-extension claim.

Review record and limits

Completed 2026-10-16 at 12:10 UTC. No tests, package install, native/compiler/build, UI, device, browser, server, remote machine mutation, Git/source edit, GitHub comment/status or Observer/capture/publication was performed. Independent byte comparisons and official read-only API/package reads were performed. Only this requested private report was written. PR373 and PR371 were linked early and verified present through list_thread_pull_requests; both are unwatched. The parent is the durable findings/status writer.

Requirements and who asked: User/parent requests a new independent frozen-head R3 review of the narrow compiler backport for authorized #370 mobile catch-up, preserving accepted desktop/server and optional Connect behavior.
Deleted: Broad Expo upgrade, consumer workarounds, package-version changes, blind archive retry, native/browser/device work, nested delegation and any transfer of approval to the source worker's next head.
Bottleneck: Mandatory patch registration breaks the actual release lock-regeneration consumer; fresh native device/simulator and signed-artifact/TestFlight proof remain separate parent-owned gates.
Checked myself: Complete exact five-file delta, current procedures/project context and prior reviews, fresh merged Expo commit and official pinned package, patch/input/output/hash bindings, public conformance owners, stripper/cache mechanisms, frozen-consumer evidence and exact-head failed Release Smoke source/log/check.

What: Independent R4 approves source at3caa62c7c841715988ce971e4445c696d498e488.
Why: The fresh-resolution defect is fixed while preserving the exact native repair and resolved package graph.
So what: The coordinator will verify current gates, land the candidate and perform the authorized exact-source signed artifact/TestFlight delivery.

Reviewer findings and verdict follow unchanged.

Independent exact-head review R4

Verdict: APPROVE source at 3caa62c7c841715988ce971e4445c696d498e488. R3's sole blocking finding is resolved. No supported actionable code finding remains in the complete cumulative PR373 diff. This approves the inspected source, not merge readiness, a signed artifact, upload or TestFlight availability.

Owner: Issue #370, PR #373. Preserved desktop/server outcome: PR #371. Reviewer: GPT-6.1 Sol, high effort, Codex through T3 Code; independent of the author, with no nested delegation. Parent relays this report and the exact-SHA verdict/status unchanged.

The native producer repair supports the authorized mobile catch-up and the existing Objective's mobile access. It introduces no new product direction, architecture, version or deployment target.

Prior findings adjudicated

R1 missing identity: resolved, preserved. R2's accepted identity/configuration is the exact base here. I independently compared current app.config.ts, chromeria.ts, brand source, direction and instructions against that base: byte-identical. The cumulative change does not reopen identity, OTA, EAS, reduced-capability or optional Connect policy. Actual Connect PRESENT is expected final209 behavior; the historical absence/stripping assumption is not an acceptance requirement. This review makes no new real-provider/cloud-login, physical-device or disabled-extension claim.

R3 P1, mandatory patch unused during fresh resolution: fixed. The source owner now constrains the transitive dependency with expo-modules-jsi: 58.0.7 in the existing root overrides mechanism, with the matching generated lock override. The exact-version patch remains mandatory. Official pinned expo-modules-core@58.0.11 metadata independently confirms its ~58.0.7 dependency. Fresh resolution therefore retains the version this native patch actually repairs, while frozen resolution retains the already accepted package graph.

I read the actual unchanged scripts/release-smoke.ts: it copies mobile and other workspace manifests plus patches, updates temporary release versions, deletes the fixture lock and runs vp install --lockfile-only --ignore-scripts. Both retained logs say Scope: all 33 workspace projects. The before log fails at that real consumer with ERR_PNPM_UNUSED_PATCH for expo-modules-jsi@58.0.7; the after log completes resolution and ends Release smoke checks passed. The current frozen-install log reports resolution skipped and successful completion. The manifest/handoff records exit 1 before and exit 0 after/frozen. This is retained execution evidence inspected by this reviewer, not a fresh reviewer install or test run.

The correction neither filters mobile from the fixture nor changes the smoke script/test, ignores unused patches, removes the runtime repair or changes tracked package versions. I verified the full increment equals candidate-increment.diff: two source files only, one lock override line and the workspace override/comment. The entire lock remainder starting at importers: is byte-identical to R3, including every package and snapshot. Thus this policy correction does not import newer native dependencies.

Fresh official inspection also confirms merged upstream PR11426, commit 18d8cbfd920d0a53e5b5206456585aea767e852c, fixed the same fresh-resolution/exact-patch mechanism by pinning a direct expo-audio dependency. I read its complete two-file diff and Issue11437. That is supporting precedent, not authority or a substitute for this candidate's actual regression evidence. Here JSI is transitive, so the existing override owner is appropriate.

Cumulative runtime and integration review

Backport provenance and adaptation cleared. I independently fetched the complete official Expo commit through the read-only API. All three candidate runtime hunk bodies match exactly; package-relative paths are the adaptation, and the non-runtime release changeset is appropriately omitted. I fetched official npm 58.0.7 into memory, verified registry SHA-512 against the package and candidate lock, and compared all three original files to retained before/ bytes. Independently mapping each patch hunk onto those actual inputs reproduces retained after/ bytes. Later upstream string/builder changes outside the fix are not imported.

Public conformances cleared at source. The four SPI annotations apply to internal JSIRepresentable conformances. The pinned package's distinct public Optional/Array/Dictionary JavaScriptRepresentable conformances remain present and unchanged, as does JavaScriptRef's preceding public conformance. Bool conversion implementations are untouched. This is not removal of the intended public generic API. I do not claim a native consumer test of every generic conformance.

Interface stripping cleared within its stated contract. Read the actual old/new builder and proof program. Independently checked the retained raw-interface digest and outputs: the old result attaches two unavailable attributes to Bool; the new result leaves Bool available. The only real-output difference is eight orphan attributes. The added sed branch deletes an unavailable attribute together with the next consumed placeholder declaration, rather than indiscriminately deleting unavailability. The retained negative fixture protects unrelated unconditional, platform and message annotations, trailing unavailability and prior C++/placeholder stripping. Native BSD sed evidence is addressed separately below.

Registration and reachability cleared. The patch SHA-256 is 253ca52f605394a68f9b545ea4d5884ad36cb0df30a1050e6b96706cae4044ac, matching the lock registration and affected snapshot references. Retained actual-resolution proof follows mobile -> Expo -> core -> patched JSI58.0.7 and compares all three installed runtime files to the independently reconstructed patch outputs. The new override keeps this same version reachable for fresh resolution. No new UI entry point, RPC, provider behavior, connection mode or server/desktop runtime path is introduced.

Cache concern remains correctly owned by native production. The unchanged builder hashes both changed Swift files, the builder script, toolchain and relevant headers/path inputs. No additional source-level invalidation defect is supported. The observed stale device slice could not be cleared by a simulator-only pass. R3's fresh device/simulator and consumer requirements were therefore valid, and the now-supplied native report addresses them. A custom root would still require matching explicit invalidation; the reported proof used the default root with EXPO_CUSTOM_BUILD_ROOT unset.

Scope and metadata cleared. Remaining changes register ownership under the existing fork-maintenance owner and add PR373 to the existing absorption map part. No unrelated feature, broad Expo upgrade, consumer workaround, package-version bump or public release change is present. Whitespace validation passes for all changed files except the patch's intentional diff-context spaces, which are preserved verbatim from upstream rather than rewritten.

Evidence independently checked and reuse limits

Evidence root: /home/luke/scratch/chromeria-370-mobile-20261016/.

Independently verified two new source hashes, all ten new proof hashes, all five R3 source hashes, all thirteen original proof hashes and three patched-runtime hashes against the corresponding manifests. Independently verified the complete incremental diff, unchanged patch and unchanged resolved graph. Read the retained 31-pass/two-file focused test summary and config log with six switch-off byte-equivalent cases plus two canonical flag-on cases. Expected fork-check: FAIL fixture diagnostics precede the passing test summary; they are not failures of the candidate check. These retained checks are feedback, not certification of complete current CI.

The late native update was included in this same R4 without changing the reviewed head. Read the complete local rocky-delivery/native-proof-23598b4.md, JSON receipts and 54-entry manifest. Their exact source, patch and three runtime bindings match the original source manifest. Producer log digests and actual ExpoSQLite log digest agree between JSON and manifest; all 54 manifest paths are unique. The supplied receipts report fresh device then simulator producer builds, explicit task-owned cache preservation/invalidation, baseline Bool consumer failure, successful actual and textual device/simulator imports with fresh module caches, BSD sed negative guards, and actual Release device ExpoSQLite compilation in fresh application DerivedData. Toolchain is recorded as Xcode27.1/Swift6.4.

The parent separately reports independently reading the real producer/consumer logs and verifying all 54 remote entries. I inspected the local reports, receipt consistency and input-equivalence claim; I did not retrieve/re-hash those remote artifact bytes or execute a native command. Empty successful typecheck logs alone would not prove exit status; the separate argv/exit receipts supply that claim. The parent owns native acceptance. This report therefore supports reuse of that focused native result across the constraint-only change: patch/runtime/dependency/config source inputs did not change. It does not invent a native run at 3caa or claim a signed application.

Native source hash 87771114894e58668bdf164804eb0fe1fd161c5d1c9803d9c04c257401a6098e is recorded for both rebuilt slices. The actual ExpoSQLite success log is bound to 297cf93a5aea0633e0eedcda17ecc0c3b6dc574b6a8943e09d50b3eb8a9ef6d6. On the final merged source, frozen install, physical patched-package resolution and generated Pods owner-path checks still need to agree before artifact reuse. Changed native inputs/toolchain or a different producer path require affected revalidation.

Remaining delivery gates

No blocking code correction is requested. Parent owns current CI, merge and final exact-merged-source artifact acceptance. The canonical archive remains held for those gates. Native producer/consumer PASS is narrower than full application archive, signing/export, IPA digest/provenance, embedded identity/OTA/capability verification, upload, processing VALID and availability to the existing internal Chromeria tester/group. None of those final artifact/ASC states is established here. Build4 failed with no IPA/upload; its old build number is a proof input, not a newly allocated upload number.

Keep optional production Connect as intended and retain the recorded UI proof limits: core thread/navigation/composer/image/video only. No public release, tester additions, account/capability expansion or package-version bump follows from this verdict. Desktop/server PR371 acceptance is preserved.

PR373 and PR371 were linked early and both verified linked/unwatched through list_thread_pull_requests. No manual attribution, capture or cost publication was performed; linkage does not establish cost completeness. Only this requested private report was written. No repository/Git/GitHub content or status writes, native/device/browser/server/build/install, source edits or delegation occurred. Parent is the durable findings/status writer.

Elon record

Requirements and who asked: User/parent requests independent exact-head R4 review of the complete native backport and fresh-resolution repair for authorized #370 iOS/TestFlight catch-up, retaining accepted identity, optional Connect and desktop/server outcome.
Deleted: Approval transfer from R3, broad dependency upgrade, consumer workaround, ignored unused patches, duplicate reviewer native/install runs and any promotion of focused compiler proof into final artifact/TestFlight acceptance.
Bottleneck: R3's source regression is fixed and focused native evidence has arrived; parent-owned current CI/merge and exact merged-source signed artifact/TestFlight gates remain.
Checked myself: Full cumulative five-file diff and complete increment, actual Release Smoke consumer/logs, official Expo diff/pinned package/core metadata, all source/proof/patch bindings, public conformance owners, stripper outputs/cache mechanisms, local native receipts/input equivalence and live PR/link state.

What: Partial cost report: the generated Observer report prices39 attributable responses at$1.1540464 API-list-price equivalent; complete mobile outcome cost remains unknown.
Why: The shared coordinator and cross-machine records do not all have reliable PR ownership, and the report's broad elapsed interval is inherited session context.
So what: Use only the attributable subset below; the coordinator will refresh PR371 after artifact/TestFlight delivery and disclose remaining gaps.

The generated headline's complete flag applies only to its locally attributable subset.39/39 responses in that subset have sourced exact-model rates, with no unavailable/missing sources reported there.1,067 shared/unplaced responses and451 responses attributed elsewhere are excluded. Rocky's latest native phase separately reports78 unplaced/unbound responses; no manual reassignment or cross-machine sum is used. Neither those context buckets nor the displayed14.8h is PR373 cost or task-only elapsed time. Full outcome elapsed and cost are unknown.

Model/harness/effort Input (includes cache) Cache read subset Output (includes reasoning) Reasoning subset API equivalent
gpt-6.1-sol / Codex / medium 2,276,594 2,224,256 12,548 1,561 $0.452582
gpt-6.1-sol / Codex / high 2,123,299 1,969,792 19,747 5,233 $0.7014632

Cache-write0 in this subset. Do not add cache/reasoning subsets to inclusive native totals. Native reported cost and actual subscription spend are unknown, never zero. Exact-model rate source: T3 local table asof2026-10-15, schedule510e95c496c5a37477f1162a29e2610f559162283b7ab6e6f683ed19d9f05b25; snapshot4a3ebfd63021f339d69b1f837099b3659ce53e35a0b24cac1b94d1eb9318b2ac, cutoff2026-10-16T12:21UTC. Private JSON/dryrun evidence retained outside source. No Observer code/rates/ledger ownership changed.

Requirements and who asked: User requires readable honest task costs with exact-model prices and cross-machine gaps disclosed.
Deleted: Whole-conversation spend, inherited elapsed-time claim, manual ownership, false zero and complete-outcome headline.
Bottleneck: Actual shared/unplaced and cross-machine attribution gaps.
Checked myself: Supported sync/task373export, sanitized dryrun, model counter semantics,39/39 rate coverage, exclusions and snapshot/schedule.

Details: snapshot, prices, coverage, counters
  • Task toolboxmd/chromeria#373: outcome unknown (recorded acceptance only; a finished process never implies it).
  • Proof: fix(mobile): backport Expo Swift 6.4 interface repair #373
  • Snapshot 4a3ebfd63021f339d69b1f837099b3659ce53e35a0b24cac1b94d1eb9318b2ac, records up to 2026-10-16 12:21 UTC.
  • 18 sessions on claude, codex; AgentsMD 17.1.1.
  • Not counted: 1,067 responses ($41.78) in sessions shared with other PRs that worked in no single PR's checkout.
  • 451 responses in these sessions worked on other PRs and are counted there.
  • Totals reconcile with the measured sessions: yes. Evidence complete: yes.
  • Prices: list-price estimate from T3 local rate table (path withheld) as of 2026-10-15, schedule 510e95c496c5a37477f1162a29e2610f559162283b7ab6e6f683ed19d9f05b25. Unknown prices stay unknown, never zero.
    • T3 LiteLLM rate table when present; bundled schedule covers the rest.
    • Model price sources: T3 local rate table (path withheld).
  • Harness-reported cost: none reported.
  • Usage totals are not billing. Subscription spending is separate and is never posted as spend.
  • Crashed runs are counted separately: 0.

Token counters by model (native counter semantics; never added across semantics):

  • gpt-6.1-sol (codex, medium), codex counters: input includes cached, output includes reasoning: input 2,276,594; cache-read 2,224,256; cache-write 0; output 12,548; reasoning 1,561; harness total 2,289,142.
  • gpt-6.1-sol (codex, high), codex counters: input includes cached, output includes reasoning: input 2,123,299; cache-read 1,969,792; cache-write 0; output 19,747; reasoning 5,233; harness total 2,143,046.

Generated tokens (reasoning and other output are disjoint; other output includes code, tool calls and replies):

Model Reasoning Other output Reasoning share Split known for
gpt-6.1-sol (codex, medium) 1,561 10,987 12.4% 17 of 17
gpt-6.1-sol (codex, high) 5,233 14,514 26.5% 22 of 22

Usage by work phase (this task's own responses):

Recorded activity by phase (observations, not separate token bills):

Phase Tool calls MCP results Reads File changes Failed tool results
unclassified 310 63 30 7 36

Selected rates (USD per million tokens). These rates value the report at the selected schedule date; they do not establish historical prices or subscription spending.

Model Input tier Input Cache read Cache write Other output Reasoning
gpt-6.1-sol all 2 0.1 2.5 10 10

Other output and reasoning are priced without double counting inclusive native output. Missing rates remain unknown.

Local measurement from native records; usage totals are not billing. Updated in place by agent-observer publish.
