fix(app): never let the main webview navigate to an external page - #6262
Conversation
Links in the desktop app must open in the default browser, and the main webview (no back button, no address bar) must never load a remote page. - crates/openhuman-app: new `external_navigation` plugin. `on_navigation` cancels any http(s) navigation of the `main` webview away from the app origin (tauri://localhost, http(s)://tauri.localhost, the dev server under `tauri dev`) and hands the URL to the OS opener. This is the backstop for routes the JS click guard cannot see: location.href, form submit, redirects, and WebKit's target=_blank. - openUrl: inside the desktop shell an opener failure is re-thrown instead of falling back to window.open, and the shell is detected with Tauri's runtime marker so the IPC-bridge bootstrap gap is not mistaken for a browser. - AnnouncementModal: the CTA goes through openUrl instead of window.open.
Adds feature 4.2.11 (links open in the default browser; the main webview never loads a remote page) and a cross-platform release smoke item for clicking a chat link.

The Windows app origin exemption matched the host only, so http://tauri.localhost:8000/ (a loopback service, a different origin) could still load in the main webview. Require the default port, and cover it in the handoff test.

With useHttpsScheme unset the Windows app origin is http://tauri.localhost, but the exemption also kept https://tauri.localhost (a loopback HTTPS service, a different origin) in the main webview. The plugin now reads use_https_scheme from the window config and only that scheme's tauri.localhost origin stays in the webview.

Summary
crates/openhuman-app/src/external_navigation.rs): any http(s) navigation of themainwebview away from the app origin is cancelled and handed to the OS opener.openUrlno longer falls back towindow.openinside the desktop shell when the OS opener fails, and detects the shell with Tauri's runtime marker so the IPC-bridge bootstrap gap is not mistaken for a browser.AnnouncementModal's CTA, the last directwindow.opencaller, now goes throughopenUrl.Problem
main(v0.63.25, Wry, macOS), the assistant replied with a barehttps://github.com/tinyhumansai/openhumanlink. Clicking it replaced the app screen with the GitHub page inside the app window. The window has no back button or address bar, so the user was stranded until restart.app/src/utils/externalLinkGuard.ts), and that guard was in the failing build (verified: the failing binary embeds the bundle that contains it). It only seesclickevents, so any navigation that is not a click on an anchor reaches the webview unguarded:location.hrefassignments, form submits, redirects, WebKit'starget=_blank, and platform gestures.click), but it could not be synthesized. The native backstop covers that class regardless of which route it was.Solution
on_navigation. For themainwebview, anhttp/httpsURL whose origin is not the app is cancelled and opened withtauri-plugin-openeron a blocking task. App origins that stay in the webview: any non-http scheme (tauri://localhoston macOS/Linux,about:,data:,blob:),http(s)://tauri.localhost(Windows), and the dev server origin only undertauri dev. The log line carries the origin only, never the path or query. The decision is a pure function (navigation_handoff) so it is unit-tested without an app.mainis covered: it is the only webview whose content is the app UI and that renders arbitrary links. The PTT overlay renders none; mascot/notch are native WKWebViews outside Tauri; the shell creates no webviews meant to browse remote sites. OAuth flows already open the system browser throughopenUrl, and no OAuth flow loads a remote page inmain.on_navigationdoes not say whether a navigation targets the main frame, so a remote<iframe>inmainwould also be handed off. The app renders no iframes today (grep ofapp/src).openUrlwithoutwindow.openin the shell. In a desktop webview there is no browser forwindow.opento open, so a fallback there either does nothing or loads the remote page in-app. The error is re-thrown to the caller, which keeps the user on the app. Browser/preview builds keepwindow.open.isTauri().tauriCommands/common.ts'sisTauri()also requires the IPC bridge to be wired; during the bootstrap gap it readsfalse, which previously sent the desktop app down the browser branch straight intowindow.open. Identity (am I the desktop shell?) and readiness (can I invoke yet?) are separate questions here;revealPathand other readiness-dependent callers keep the hardened wrapper.Submission Checklist
