Fix reported compiler warnings in regression fixtures - #7645
Remove the C# warnings reported in #7642 from regression fixtures. Executors reuse the inherited registration order; intentional null rows and hook initialization are explicit; the timeout and count fixtures assert their supplied data. The assertion mapper acknowledges its known non-null input.
Validation: SDK 10.0.403, net10.0. Targeted filters passed for both executor fixtures, assertion exception propagation, test count, transaction scope, quick timeout, and both typed null-row fixtures. The cancellation-token fixture still produces its declared five-second timeout failure. The broader _7118 filter produced its three declared failure cases and 31 passes. No engine tests were run locally.
The reported diagnostics are absent after rebuilding. Additional pre-existing C# fixture warnings are tracked in #7644, and analyzer/code-fixer warnings remain tracked in #7410.
Updated automated checks to validate expected values, assertion behavior, timeout cancellation, and transaction setup across several test scenarios, improving coverage of these test conditions.
Clarified handling of nullable test values in test cases and generated expectations, while removing ordering metadata from test fixtures where it was no longer needed.
The regression test fixtures now use null-forgiving operators, include value assertions in two tests, and omit two executor Order properties. The generated expected output reflects the nullability syntax changes.
The fixtures update nullability syntax, add value assertions, and remove two executor Order properties. The generated expected output reflects the nullability changes.
Issue 7644 concerns remaining compiler warnings in regression test fixtures. This PR does not claim to resolve those remaining warnings.

Explanation
The title "Fix reported compiler warnings in regression fixtures" matches the main change. The raw summary shows edits across regression fixtures that remove or alter C# warning sources. These edits include null-forgiving operators on intentional null rows, an Order property removal, an added assertion, and an updated Tests7118 snapshot. The PR objectives state the goal is to remove compiler warnings reported in issue #7642 from these fixtures. The title is specific, concise, and free of file lists or vague wording.
Full details: Linked Issues check
Explanation
Directly linked issue #7642 requires the reported fixture diagnostics to be removed without weakening fixture behavior or assertions. The reviewed head keeps the prior evidence for the fixture changes: the shadowing Order properties are removed from the executor fixtures (CS0108), intentional null rows use null! (CS8625), the known non-null assertion input uses v! (CS8602), constructor values are read in TestCountVerificationTests and CancellationTokenTriggeredTests (CS9113), and TransactionTest._scope is initialized for the hook assignment (CS8618). The MixedTypeRowsTests.cs diff at head confirms the null! attribute arguments and keeps their explicit generic types and expected results. The new commit a856db3 changes only Tests7118.Test.verified.txt, updating four generated snapshot expressions from null to null! so that the snapshot matches the updated fixture source. This is a consequence of the same warning fix. The author reports targeted Tests7118 passed after the update. The verified-file diff could not be read directly, so this result relies on the change summary and the author's test report. No requirement of #7642 is unmet by the reviewed evidence.
Full details: Out of Scope Changes check
Explanation
All changed files are regression fixtures named by #7642 or the generator snapshot that records their generated output. The new commit a856db3 changes Tests7118.Test.verified.txt only. That snapshot change mirrors the null! fixture change in MixedTypeRowsTests.cs, so it supports the same issue objective and does not add unrelated behavior. The diff for the verified file could not be read directly; this verdict relies on the change summary, which states that the generated argument values remain null and only the expression text changes. No changes address the separately tracked analyzer, code-fixer (#7410), unit-test (#7438), or additional fixture (#7644) warnings.

A rabbit checks each fixture line, Null marks keep intent in place. Two value checks now join the tests, Two Order props leave the trace. Generated rows still pass null through, And warning-free code hops into view.
This is a small, test-fixture-only cleanup that removes the compiler warnings from #7642. I checked each change:
Satisfies(v => v!.Length, ...) and Arguments<T>(null!): these are minimal and explicit about the intent, and they leave the test behavior unchanged.
TransactionScope _scope = null!: the comment names the [Before(Test)] hook that initializes it. That is the right way to handle a field with deferred initialization.
Removing Order => 0 from the executors: the executors inherit Order from the base class, so the override was redundant. Your PR description says the diagnostics are gone after a rebuild, which supports this.
TestCountVerificationTests now asserts IsIn(1, 2, 10). That matches the three data sources: Arguments(1), Arguments(2), and the implicit TestDataSource conversion to 10. The test now consumes its constructor argument.
CancellationTokenTriggeredTests asserts value == 1 before the timeout path. The data source yields only 1, and the fixture is still ExpectedResult.Failure through the 5s timeout. The new assertion runs before the delay, so it doesn't change that.
I found no correctness, AOT or design concerns. The one thing to confirm is that CI is green for the engine tests, since they weren't run locally.
Both required reviewers approved cc43ea5, with no findings or review threads. Marked ready for review with the head unchanged. The ready-for-review event starts CI and a fresh Claude review; auto-merge must wait for that Claude run to pass and its comment to be checked.
Fixture-only cleanup that removes the warnings from #7642 without changing what the fixtures exercise.
Executors: dropping the redundant Order => 0 is safe. GenericAbstractExecutor already exposes a public Order (visible in the PublicAPI snapshot), so the registration order is unchanged. The remaining Order at line 106 is on a different type, and I left it alone.
Typed null rows:null! on Arguments<string> and Arguments<string[]> only silences nullability. The runtime value is still null, so the _7118 scenarios are unchanged.
Count and timeout fixtures: the new assertions match the supplied data. TestCountVerificationTests gets 1, 2 and 10 (via the implicit operator), which are exactly the values IsIn(1, 2, 10) accepts. In CancellationTokenTriggeredTests the IsEqualTo(1) runs before the timeout path, so the expected 5-second failure is unaffected.
TransactionTest:null! with a comment is appropriate because the Before(Test) hook initializes the field.
One optional point: the IsIn(1, 2, 10) list duplicates the data-source values, so it will go stale if someone adds a row. That's acceptable for a regression fixture, but a short comment would help.
I didn't run the tests. The PR description says the targeted filters passed.

The earlier blocker is cleared: Claude run 42023404996 completed successfully, and all review surfaces have no blocking findings or unresolved threads. The optional fixture-comment suggestion and CodeRabbit docstring warning do not require changes for these self-contained regression tests.
CI run 42023404562 failed on Ubuntu and Windows because Tests7118 still expected null instead of the intentional null! expressions introduced by this PR. Commit a856db3 updates exactly those four snapshot expressions after reviewing the received artifact. Rebased onto current origin/main (1441bfe).
Validation: SDK 10.0.403; targeted Tests7118 passed, then the full core-generator suite on net10.0 passed (351 passed, 1 skipped). No engine tests ran locally. Existing build warnings remain tracked in #7410 and #7412. Fresh CI and current-head reviews are required before merge.
Small, focused warning cleanup. I checked the changes against the code and found no blocking issues.
Snapshot: the Tests7118.Test.verified.txt edits (null → null!) match the fixture source changes, so the source-generator snapshot should still match.
Executor fixtures: dropping the redundant Order => 0 is safe because the base class supplies the order. The PR description says registration order is unchanged.
TestCountVerificationTests:IsIn(1, 2, 10) covers all three data sources (two Arguments and the implicit conversion to 10). The assertion won't fail on any existing row.
CancellationTokenTriggeredTests: the new IsEqualTo(1) matches DataSource, which yields 1. The fixture still fails by timeout as declared.
TransactionTest:null! with a comment is reasonable, since the Before(Test) hook initializes the field.
Satisfies(v => v!.Length ...):! is fine here because the input is known to be non-null.
One non-blocking note: the new assertions in the count and timeout fixtures add a small extra failure path to the fixtures. They are only used to consume the parameter, and _ = value; would avoid that. The assertions are harmless and arguably more useful, so I'm happy to keep them as they are.
