Replace the boolean `Backend.experimental` property with `Backend.state`, which returns a new `BackendState` enum: - EXPERIMENTAL: emits the "backend is experimental" warning - BETA: no warning, but no backwards-compat guarantee - STABLE Custom backends still default to EXPERIMENTAL. - triton, tileir (inherited): STABLE - cute, pallas: BETA (were experimental) - metal, flydsl: EXPERIMENTAL README and installation docs now describe CuTe as beta.
