I searched existing issues and did not find a duplicate.
I included enough detail to reproduce or investigate the problem.
Area
apps/server
Steps to reproduce
Use a project hosted on Azure DevOps.
Commit .azuredevops/pull_request_template.md to the repository’s default branch.
Create a feature branch and make a commit.
Enable Settings → Source Control → Follow change request templates.
Create a pull request through T3 Code’s Git actions, targeting the default branch.
Inspect the generated description.
Expected behavior
T3 Code discovers the Azure DevOps repository template and uses its structure when generating the pull request description.
Actual behavior
Azure DevOps template discovery is still missing, so the repository’s template is not passed to the description generator.
I originally reported this in #12330 because I wanted Azure DevOps support. The issue also covered GitLab. #19813 implemented GitLab’s default merge request template reader, and the original issue was subsequently closed.
The maintainer reply confirmed that Azure DevOps template discovery remains open and requested a separate issue specifically for it. This report covers that remaining problem.
On current main, GitManager uses the optional readChangeRequestTemplate method when the setting is enabled. The Azure DevOps source-control implementation does not implement that method.
