The interface language defaults to English after I sign in

Observed behavior

The interface language which I've selected at the sign-in page defaults to English after I sign in.

Expected behavior

The language selected at the sign-in page should be kept after having signed in.

Steps to reproduce the issue

1. Go to https://hotfixes.studio.learningequality.org/en/accounts/#/
2. Click on any of the available languages such as Português or العَرَبِيَّة
3. Observe that the interface is changed to the selected language and then proceed to sign in.
4. Observe that the language has now defaulted back to English and I have to manually select the desired language again from the user menu.
