Change
While a chat message waits for acknowledgement, the Send button looks the same as it does with an empty draft. Following the maintainer's suggestion in #319, the button now shows a small stepped progress ring, with an accessible "sending" name and a busy state. With reduced motion the ring stays static. Draft retention and the handling of acknowledgements and refusals work as before.
Validation
bun run typecheckpasses.bun scripts/composer-fit-demo-regression.tspasses, and its held-receipt assertion failed before the fix. It covers success and refusal, unchanged button bounds, all six palettes, reduced motion, Claude and Codex, desktop and phone, and dark and light themes.
