Why this is the focus right now

PMF goal = turn a developer who is NOT on gittensor into a productive, registered gittensor contributor. That's a funnel, testable mostly with already-shipped pieces (contributor tools, extension #534, predict_gate + oss-anti-slop pack that work with no account). The agent layer (Wave 2) is the accelerant added after this funnel converts. Faster funnel → faster PMF → faster growth for both gittensor and gittensory.

The funnel

landed → ran no-account tool → submitted PR → PR passed gate → saw 'you'd earn ~X, register' → registered → first reward.

Outcome

An empirical, watched conversion funnel on the 3 owned repos within 1–2 dogfood cycles — true PMF signal, or a precise blocker to fix. Pulls one thin advisory slice (#803) from the agent layer; full auto-actions stay parked in Wave 2 (#769/#778).

Done when

A non-registered dev can land on an owned repo, get value with no account, submit a quality PR, see the conversion hook, and register — and we can see each step's conversion rate.
