Action Performed:

Precondition:

• Workspace has per diem rates.

1. Go to staging.new.expensify.com
2. Go to workspace chat.
3. Create a per diem expense.
4. Go to workspace settings > Per diem.
5. Select all the rates and delete them all.
6. Go back to workspace chat.
7. Open the per diem expense.
8. Click More > Split > Save.

Expected Result:

Per diem expense should be split without issue (production).

Actual Result:

"Please fix the distance rate error" shows up when no distance rate is involved.
