Action Performed:
- Go to https://staging.new.expensify.com/
- Log in
- Create a task without an assignee in a 1:1
- Verify the green dot is not displayed in the task conversation in LHN
- Assign the task to yourself
- Verify there's a green dot in the Task conversation in LHN
- Reassign the task to the other DM participant
- Observe the task in LHN
Expected Result:
Green dot disappears in LHN when reassign task to another user
Actual Result:
Green dot disappears when reopened task

I have rechecked the issue on the latest staging, and the behavior of the green dot on the task report has changed. Based on the PR #43927 the GBR for the task showed this certain condition:
Also, in this issue, the actual result was that the GBR on the task report doesn't disappear after reassigning; it's not reproducible.
