AI Systems Architect for regulated industries — evals, harness design, AI security.
Bashar Ayyash (Yabasha) is an AI Systems Architect in Amman, Jordan. Twenty years shipping software, four of them inside a regulated bank building production RAG and agent systems with evals, guardrails and monitoring — in Arabic and English. He writes at yabasha.dev and builds open-source tooling for AI-assisted development. Demos are easy. Production isn't.
Production AI in places where a wrong answer has a cost: evaluation sets, guardrails, fallback paths and the boring plumbing that decides whether an agent survives contact with real users. Arabic and English, which is a narrower problem than it sounds and a much harder one.

I write about what breaks between a working demo and a production system.
