In the Mac M2 environment, the GUI launched via bun run tauri dev can find and run Claude, but the dmg packaged via bun run tauri build cannot locate Claude, displaying "Claude Code not found No valid Claude installation found."

same in ubuntu linux when i ran bun run tauri dev can find claude code. but when using deb package via bun run tauri build. displaying "Claude Code not found No valid Claude installation found."

I was able to fix it on mac, I'm assuming a similar root cause for the ubuntu case as well, so should wrap up both cleanly @jothiprasath-cdmx

this may actually be a symptom of a larger issue. I noticed that any attempt to spawn the claude code sessions, MCP, etc. all fail to execute - I would assume this is some issue with a notarised build

not familiar with the proper approach to allowing external service spawning - the PR is likely still a good addition, but spawning sessions and checking MCP are also broken when you do the full bun run tauri build command

personally going to just be launching the dev instance for now

Yes, after the update, Claude can be found. I noticed a small bug when running bun run tauri build. The src-tauri/tauri.conf.json>bundle>icon is missing "icons/icon.icns", which caused an error.

Another bug: "env: node: No such file or directory", still occurs in the build environment but not in the dev environment.

Just use VS code and edit src-tauri/tauri.conf.json file in bundle>icon section. You need to add "cons/icon.icns" to the list
