A 1px box whose clip-path: inset(50%) or clip: rect(0 0 0 0) leaves nothing of it is the usual way to keep text for screen readers only (Tailwind's sr-only, Bootstrap's visually-hidden, FullCalendar's day labels since 7.1.2). It draws nothing, but the box cuts its text, so have_no_overflow reported every such label and a recipe using one failed on every screen.
