Feature request: destroy method for all JS plugins

Would be great if all the plugins had a destroy method that unbinds event listeners / removes el.data (see tooltip.destroy).

Otherwise there's no way to ensure they will be garbage collected in single page / long running apps.

not really necessary if you use jquery's remove element method – just need to make sure you unbind the data-api from the dom with .off('.data-api')
