When poolsDir contains multiple active, open v2 pools, this returns the first one without checking whether the configured validator has a proxy or any stakeable balance there. ElectionEntry then fails in GetStake or get_validator_proxy_v2, so a later usable pool is never examined and the validator can miss the election. Include validator-specific eligibility in the readiness check or continue to the next pool when those checks fail.
