Claude threads drained the Anthropic 5-hour meter about 1.6x faster than interactive Claude Code, because T3 Code's Claude processes reported the Agent SDK's default entrypoint. Claude threads could also join the Claude Code session that launched T3 Code.
This cherry-picks two upstream fixes with
-x:ddfc4a92ed):mergeClaudeProcessEnvironmentinClaudeHome.tssetsCLAUDE_CODE_ENTRYPOINT=t3-codefor every Claude process T3 Code starts (the adapter and the driver both use it). ACLAUDE_CODE_ENTRYPOINTin Claude's settingsenvstill wins.readClaudeSettingsBaseUrlbecomesreadClaudeSettingsEnv.47f2c8d29e): removes the launching session's variables (CLAUDECODE,CLAUDE_CODE_SESSION_ID, the messaging socket and token, and others) from that environment.Conflicts were in imports only:
ClaudeAdapterV2.ts: kept the fork'st3OrchestrationInstructionsimport and dropped the now-unusedmergeProviderInstanceEnvironmentimport.ClaudeProvider.ts: kept the fork'sdiscoverClaudeSkillsAndPluginsand swapped inreadClaudeSettingsEnv.ClaudeSkills.tsmerged cleanly. Not taken: pingdotgg#29408, which is still open upstream and only affects API-key Claude instances.
