Chat threads can't scroll since the 2026-10-28 upstream sync #229

Problem

In v2.12.76 a chat thread's timeline doesn't scroll. Upstream's F6 change (pingdotgg#25877 upstream) moved the conversation area's layout classes (relative flex min-h-0 flex-1 flex-col) onto its own new data-workspace-area="conversation" element. The sync kept the fork's InlineShellRunProvider around it, but that provider now renders a bare, unstyled <div>. That block breaks the flex height chain, so the timeline's scroll box grows with its content instead of scrolling.

Done when

InlineShellRunProvider provides context only and renders no element; the timeline's scroll box fills the chat column again and scrolls on a long thread.
