Bridge version build for linux

Hi, I'll add this to the backlog but it'll have to wait until after the LTC feature has been implemented as that will affect the pipeline.

+1 to that. I'd love to be able to run it in a docker container on a server and just have endpoints load a webpage for control

Thank you for your interest in this.

Most of Bridge is already compatible with Docker as that has been a goal from the start. However a few things remain before it's usable in such a way. One of those is the lifecycle of workspaces, which I have not yet figured out how to handle in the most optimal way.

I.e. when should a workspace be considered closed and its resources be cleaned up?

• When the last user closes the session?
• After a grace period?
• Completely manually?

Do any of you have any input regarding that or how you'd like to set up and use Bridge in a server environment?

The user could have spent alot of time setting up the workspace.
Giving the user the option to restart the workspace when opening the page again. That way the server can remove the workspace when not in use and quickly start it up again if needed. I seem to recall you have implemented workspaces in a context? So always saving the layouts, settings, etc but killing the workspace. I could have misunderstood the implementation though.

Or is saving the project the solution to bring up it again also in docker? What about cookies saving last known workspace for that user?
