`supabase db diff` errors with `failed to connect to postgres`

Describe the bug

I just updated to the latest supabase CLI and now when I run

supabase db diff

I get this error:

failed to connect to postgres: failed to connect to `host=127.0.0.1 user=postgres database=contrib_regression`: tls error (server refused TLS connection)

after the seeding stage

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install supabase with brew install supabase/tap/supabase
2. Run supabase start
3. Run supabase stop
4. Run supabase db diff

Expected behavior

It successfully creates the migration

I think this is the same issue as #4142, running the command with PGSSLMODE=disable fixes the issue

I had the same issue,
Running the command with flag --debug ( to look for the root cause .. ) seems to avoid the problem all together.
Worked for me for now.
I am on version 2.40.7 as well.

Same issue but on 2.57.4 and running with --debug allows it to work. Super weird. 🤷‍♀️

Same while trying to push the migrations to a remote with supabase db push --db-url "$DB_URL" should I try it with --debug then until fixed?

I can also confirm this is still a problem, I got the exact same error as op on 2.40.7. Updating to 2.48.3 didn't help. Only thing that helped was running --help in command.

Same issue on supabase@2.48.3, running supabase db diff. I can confirm adding --debug fixed the problem.
