Can not override interacting with accounts flagged as malicious

In the settings there is a toggle that allows to block interaction with malicious domains or accounts. Even when toggled off

such interaction is blocked. This prevents legit cases as burning spam claimable balances.

What did you do?

I tried to burn a claimable balance of an asset issued by account GBBIIQAP7H6H5WIGUUFTAHJMH7FDHYAEYQN2F2XUUWN5BCTYOYAPPEND which is marked as malicious on stellar.expert through stellar claim.

To reproduce either visit https://balances.lumens.space/claim if you have a pending claimable balance of PENDULUM:GBBIIQAP7H6H5WIGUUFTAHJMH7FDHYAEYQN2F2XUUWN5BCTYOYAPPEND (Pendulum Chain) in your account and try to burn it (click 'Clean selected balances`).

Further workarounds I tried

As discussed on discord I tried to wait a few seconds after toggling the setting to not protect me from malicious accounts before closing the extension popup to no avail.

What did you expect to see?

I want to be able to sign the transaction and get rid of the claimable balance in my account.

What did you see instead?

I see a warning about interaction with a malicious account and the Sign Transaction button is disabled:
