…config (#3121) New workflow java-compile.yml: per pinned mainframe corpus, refactor it, run cobol-to-java under a set of target configs (#3613) and run the real build (Maven; Gradle for the gradle rows) with Temurin JDK 17 and 21 -- tests/tools/java_target_matrix.py. CardDemo runs all 13 configs; CBSA, GENAPP, zopeneditor, zECS and DSF run default / plain-records / gradle. A compile error fails the job; the results table goes to the job summary. Runs when the generator or what feeds it changes (paths filter), on push to main, weekly (dependency drift on Maven Central) and on demand. Actions are pinned by SHA like the rest of the workflows; the Maven repository is cached. Locally (JDK 17 + Temurin 21, Maven 3.8, Gradle 8.10.2) every row passes on every corpus. java_target_matrix.py gains --summary and rejects an unknown config name up front.
