Hey @olestourko! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We completely agree that we can do a better job of surfacing the Workflow Steps functionality and will make an update to the docs in the next few days. 🙂

The docs regarding workflow steps don't explain how to use middleware with your edit/save/execute methods. I discovered that it is possible with WorkflowStepBuilder, along with decorator methods being available. The only way of figuring out how to do this currently is by finding the code comments.
