When I add a new list using something like t list add 'This is a test' I expect to get back something that I can use to then add users to this list. Unfortunately you don't. Even if you pass a valid slug like t list add 'this-is-a-test' Twitter might add a number to that if the slug already exists.
The only way to create a list and then add users to it reliably, is to get a list of lists and store the IDs, add a new list, then get a new list of lists and find the new ID and it's associated slug.
