I am totally aware of the similar issue (#14575 ) and do not understand why it was closed, because issue still prevails. Also there is my somewhat "old" version here (#19849).

Select is basically Picker with styled-components wrapping.

I am closing this issue because it does not appear to have been verified on the latest release, and there has been no followup in a while.
