What to build

Web and desktop users preserve their direct pairing by opening, returning to, or interacting with the environment. Browser cookies remain usable beyond their original expiry without re-pairing. Unused environments expire and remain saved for recovery.

Acceptance criteria

• Shared client-runtime activity emission calls the authenticated HTTP activity operation for the selected environment on open, return, and interaction, including opening to watch agent output.
• Background reconnects, heartbeats, passive streams, and indefinite foreground presence do not count.
• Activity does not renew other registered environments or independent pairings.
• Client and server throttling together stay within the one-hour maximum shortfall; transient failure does not create an unbounded retry loop or replay activity after expiry.
• Browser cookie refresh works beyond the original cookie deadline during continued use; remote bearer credentials require no replacement or new storage.
• Expired/revoked environments remain saved with working re-pair recovery; local desktop bootstrap and relay behavior remain unchanged.
• Focused tests written first prove selected-environment targeting versus background traffic, cookie continuity, and authorization-loss recovery. Update affected user/internal guidance.
