The search engine .py file for "1337.tp" seems to no longer exist.

I got it through WayBackMachine. You just have to copy the text, paste it into notepad++, name it "one337x" and save it as "Python file".

ok but it really does not work at all, i try "dylan" in search using only 1337x and i really have NOTHING......
so i think that xavier is right:

I don't know what you're doing wrong dawg, but you're the problem. It works if you do exactly what I and the tutorial said to do. Use the waybackmachine link I posted, copy the plaintext, put it into Notepad++, save it as one337x under file type Python. I've never had this installed previously, did exactly what I just said to do, and lookie here:

this is...i renamed .txt only here for uploading it cause .py is not supported but of course i named it .py for uploading it in my qbittorrent 5.1.0

i guess you are the problem...done all you said and i got error when i try to add it to my search plug ins as local file
it says" impossible add a major vers is just installed"
and what about yr screenshoot...??...where is written that those results came frome 1337x search plug in?

You are correct. The 1337x plugin does not work. It installed other search engines when I hit "check for updates". My apologies

Does not work. You probably made a mistake with the version, it must be 2.3, and also, if you didn't write it from scratch, you shouldn't have removed the previous authors.
