Choose the model in Pylon's chat model picker. If the OpenRouter model is not listed, open that
Claude instance in **Settings → Providers**, add its full model ID with **Add custom model**, then
select it in the picker. Claude Code's `ANTHROPIC_DEFAULT_*_MODEL` variables map role aliases such
as `sonnet`; they do not replace a model ID explicitly selected in Pylon. Custom models may expose
fewer effort, thinking, or context controls than built-in models.
