Looking into this now... weirdly I don't see it happening on the integration branch over at https://github.com/sampottinger/processing4/.

Edit: It turns out that it fails when bumping past JDK 11.0.6. Reverting to 11.0.6 restores expected behavior.

I have a hunch it's vaqua related but editor.allow_vaqua = false on Mac doesn't change the behavior... Looking into it.

Disabling the vaqua code doesn't seem to do it... looking into other possible culprits.

Confirmed that the issue is not reproducible on mac with fix_mac_os_save which introduces vaqua.

seems to reproduce (12205d4). However, 25f6725 works fine. Digging in further...

Oh golly gee whiz 😑. Ummm it looks like it happens when bumping the JDK above 11.0.6. Reverting fixes see #123. @benfry
