Android default Node-ID is not unique #16

Open

Description

@ionphoketi

Hi,

the default Node-ID in the Android App

<string name="default_node_id">d2cf13ed6293</string>
causes issues with uploading data to OTM, because OTM rightfully only accepts one connection per Node-ID at a time.

The Read-Me

<td>The installer reads the MAC from the chip and pre-fills the Node-ID. Hit <em>Fertig – Bridge starten</em>.</td>
lead me to expect, that the board tells the Android App its correct Node-ID.

There shouldn't be a default Node-ID. The app could instead generate a 12 digit unique identifier. Or leave the Node-ID string empty like

p.add_argument("--node-id", default=None,
help="device ID, e.g. V2X2MAP:d2cf13ed6293 (read from config if omitted)")
.
