feat(source-control): add Bitbucket Data Center support - #27883
Self-hosted Bitbucket Data Center uses different repository URLs, authentication, and REST endpoints from Bitbucket Cloud. T3 Code currently cannot use those instances for its repository and pull-request workflows.
This integration targets the APIs shared by 9.4.x (including 9.4.16) and 10.2 LTS, rather than gating on a version string. Atlassian identifies 10.2 as the current LTS.
Change
Adds a separate bitbucket-server driver to the existing source-control architecture. Settings, secrets, and client routing use the shared definitions consumed by web, desktop, and mobile.
Configures one Data Center instance per environment, with a host URL and HTTP access token. Handles context paths, custom web/SSH ports, personal projects, and custom SSH hostnames. Git transport continues to use the environment's Git credentials.
Keeps credentialed requests on the configured API mount, refuses redirects, bounds response reads and concurrency, respects rate-limit backoff and server pagination, and uses versioned mutations. Checkout fetches the hidden PR ref into a unique temporary ref, then atomically creates the local branch; replacing it requires force.
The small shared changes let API integrations identify configured SSH hosts and fetch hidden Git refs. Registration, release-smoke inputs, and user setup documentation are included.
Adapted from OhadC's MIT-licensed work in #18240, #18241, and #18242, including their Data Center 9.4 response fixtures. This updates that work for the current driver architecture and adds the compatibility and failure-path coverage above.
Explicit maintainer approval of this feature's direction and scope has not been established. The previous submissions were closed for missing approval; this PR does not claim an exemption or imply that the discussion itself constitutes approval. It is submitted at the request of the contributor, with that prerequisite made explicit.
Verification
TMPDIR=/private/tmp vp run check:changed 15fe28327: format, lint, both knip passes, unused patches, GraphQL generation, affected-package typechecks, and 454 tests across 13 files pass. Canonical TMPDIR avoids an existing macOS /var versus /private/var assertion in the Git tests.
Focused Data Center/discovery fixtures cover personal/service accounts, token changes, host/context isolation, non-contiguous pagination, rate limits, empty and truncated responses, comments/reviews, versioned actions, custom SSH identities, web URL generation and host isolation, MCP linking by repository/number with SSH/SCP remotes, and review-guide routing between instances on different web ports. Existing Cloud/shared-routing checks pass.
A loopback HTTP fixture runs the actual fetch transport: GET /bitbucket/rest/api/1.0/projects?limit=1 authenticates; the repository's default-branch resolves to main; a same-origin 302 /login is returned as an error and no request reaches /login.
A real Git fixture covers hidden PR refs, forced refresh of the current PR branch, preservation of local edits, refusal to update branches checked out in another worktree, and a branch created during fetch. Conflicting edits and competing branches are preserved, and temporary refs are removed. A virtual-clock fixture verifies slow fetches can complete after one minute and stalled fetches are interrupted at five minutes.
Limits: No live 9.4.16 or 10.2 instance was exercised in this run; the contributor requested fixture-based verification. The earlier author's live evidence is linked in #18242 and is not evidence for this head. A complete current-client UI pass and screenshots remain outstanding because native browser control became unavailable. CI still owns the full suites and release builds.
Implementation and tests: GPT-6 Astra through the Codex harness in T3 Code. Original adapted implementation: OhadC, using Claude Opus 5.5 through Claude Code in T3 Code.

Explanation
The title "feat(source-control): add Bitbucket Data Center support" is a conventional commit title that names the primary change. The changeset adds a new bitbucket-server source-control driver, its API and pull-request services, shared definitions, and registration, which the title describes accurately. It is short and specific, and it does not use vague terms.
Full details: Description check
Explanation
The description covers the required template sections: Problem, Change, Scope and approval, and Verification. The Problem and Change sections explain the need and the implementation. Scope and approval links the related proposal and states that maintainer approval has not been established. Verification lists the commands, test counts, fixture coverage, and stated limits. The template asks for a conventional commit title, which the PR title satisfies. The description states that the work was adapted from earlier submissions and lists the model and harness used, which the template also requests. The description does not claim approval, and it is open about the missing approval, so this check passes. A reviewer may still question whether the scope prerequisite is met, but that is a process decision, not a template gap.

Please review 2022373, which addresses the fetch-timeout finding. Automatic reviews are currently paused. The regression test fails on the previous head and passes with the fix; all 454 changed-file tests and the remaining check:changed checks pass against the rebased main.

Pushed 7fb7dc7ee to address the concurrent branch-creation risk noted in the summary. fetchRemoteRef now fetches into a unique temporary ref and uses git branch --no-track to create the local branch atomically. Replacing an existing branch requires an explicit force flag from the checkout request. The temporary ref is cleaned up on exit; the bounded five-minute fetch remains.
Extended the real-Git fixture to create a competing branch just before fetch starts. It failed against 2022373 because the branch was overwritten. With this fix, the operation fails safely, the competing branch retains its original commit, and no temporary refs remain. The fixture also verifies explicit forced updates. The slow-fetch and interruption tests still pass.

Please review 25fd7dd8d, which fixes forced checkout when the Bitbucket PR branch is already current. The review thread has the failing-before/passing-after evidence and local-edit/worktree safeguards. All changed-file checks pass, including 454 tests.

I rechecked the approval warning against CONTRIBUTING.md and both linked discussions. The maintainer response in #23325 treats full Data Center support as a separate feature request, and #10837 contains requests for scope approval but no explicit approval. The requirement remains unmet, as disclosed in the PR body.
Current-client before/after screenshots also remain outstanding. The repository's test-t3-app workflow requires its built-in Browser panel and prohibits switching automation systems; the active tool rules prohibit using that panel to verify my own edits. The PR continues to disclose this verification limit alongside the passing API/Git fixtures.
No code change clears the maintainer-approval requirement. The warning should remain until approval is actually recorded and the UI evidence is supplied.
The cancelled checks on 25fd7dd8d were interrupted by workflow concurrency. The job annotations explicitly report:
Canceling since a higher priority waiting request for ci-27883 exists
Canceling since a higher priority waiting request for mobile-fingerprint-check-27883 exists
Several older heads were rerun in the same batch. CI ultimately completed successfully on c84aabd2d, while the current head's test jobs were interrupted. The test-cache artifact errors occurred after cancellation because those reports had not been written.
A maintainer needs to rerun only the current head's CI run and one Mobile Fingerprint Check run, avoiding another batch of older runs that shares the same concurrency groups. My rerun request returned HTTP 403; this account has read-only upstream repository permissions.
No source change is indicated by these cancellations. CodeRabbit has reviewed 25fd7dd8d without actionable findings, and the local changed-file checks passed, including 454 tests.
Closing because there is no prior maintainer approval for full Bitbucket Server and Data Center repository and PR support. Obtain agreement on that scope in Ideas before requesting reconsideration under the contribution policy. #23325 commentverification

Problem
Self-hosted Bitbucket Data Center uses different repository URLs, authentication, and REST endpoints from Bitbucket Cloud. T3 Code currently cannot use those instances for its repository and pull-request workflows.
This integration targets the APIs shared by 9.4.x (including 9.4.16) and 10.2 LTS, rather than gating on a version string. Atlassian identifies 10.2 as the current LTS.
Change
Adds a separate
bitbucket-serverdriver to the existing source-control architecture. Settings, secrets, and client routing use the shared definitions consumed by web, desktop, and mobile.force.The small shared changes let API integrations identify configured SSH hosts and fetch hidden Git refs.
Scope and approval
Related proposal: #23325.
CanonicalTMPDIRavoids an existing macOS/varversus/private/varassertion in the Git tests.GET /bitbucket/rest/api/1.0/projects?limit=1authenticates; the repository'sdefault-branchresolves tomain; a same-origin302 /loginis returned as an error and no request reaches /login.Limits: No live 9.4.16 or 10.2 instance was exercised in this run; the contributor requested fixture-based verification.
