fix(web): Ctrl + "+" zooms on keyboard layouts with a dedicated plus key - #26408
On keyboard layouts with a dedicated + key (German, Spanish, Italian at the US ] position; Nordic at -; Portuguese at [), Ctrl/Cmd + + does not zoom the app. The shortcut matcher maps that key to the US key at the same physical position, so on a German layout Ctrl + + matches the default mod+] (go forward), the app calls preventDefault, and Electron's zoom accelerator never runs. On Linux there is no visible menu bar, so View → Zoom In is not available either.
Reproduced on main 07f7f97 in the Electron desktop app under Xvfb with setxkbmap -layout de and real X key events: Ctrl + + produced {key: "+", code: "BracketRight"}, was defaultPrevented, navigated #/welcome → #/settings/general, and the zoom stayed at 1.
Change
shortcutKeyFromEvent in packages/shared/src/keybindings.ts now keeps an unshifted, non-Alt + as + instead of replacing it with its physical key, the same way it already treats letters. Three cases keep physical matching, because existing bindings rely on it:
Shift: US Ctrl+Shift+= still matches mod+shift+=.
Alt: a German alt+] binding still matches.
Number row: Czech and Slovak type + on Digit1, so Ctrl+1 still reaches mod+1.
The HTML-render frame bootstrap in packages/shared/src/htmlRender.ts has its own inline copy of the matcher. It gets the same rule, so the frame does not forward a chord the host then rejects.
HTML-render bootstrap: I executed the script from injectHtmlRenderBootstrap in a fake window with custom shortcuts posted to it.
German Meta + + against a custom meta+]: forwarded on main, not forwarded with this change, which now agrees with the host check.
Alt + + against alt+], Czech Ctrl + + against ctrl+1, and US Ctrl + ] against ctrl+]: forwarded both before and after.
No screenshots: this is key-matching logic, and the transcript above shows the behaviour.
Not checked:
cannot-verify wayland: the reporter runs KDE Plasma on Wayland, and the run above was on X11. The renderer receives the same key/code pair on both.
macOS: German Cmd + + takes the same path. Not checked at runtime.
The web build in a plain browser and the desktop preview guest. Both call the same shared function.

…indings
These tests reproduce #26383: on German/Nordic-style layouts an unshifted
"+" is remapped to its physical key, so Ctrl+"+" runs navigation.forward
(BracketRight) or preview.zoomOut (Minus) instead of zooming in.

…key binding
On German, Spanish and Nordic layouts "+" has its own key, so Ctrl+"+" arrives
as {key: "+", code: "BracketRight" | "Minus"} without Shift. shortcutKeyFromEvent
mapped it to the physical position, so mod+] (navigation.forward) swallowed the
desktop zoom accelerator and the preview zoomed out instead of in. An unshifted
"+" now keeps its layout identity; Shift+"=" on US layouts still maps to "=".

The frame bootstrap keeps its own copy of the key matcher; without this it
forwards a German Ctrl/Cmd+"+" as "]" and the host then rejects it.

Macroscope's review found this PR approvable — This fixes dedicated-plus-key handling in shared shortcuts and embedded previews without changing configured default bindings. The effect is limited to keyboard-layout interpretation, with existing modifier and input-field safeguards retained.

The shortcut resolver and HTML shortcut matcher now handle unshifted, non-Alt + events using the layout key, except when the physical code starts with Digit. Tests cover matching and non-matching cases across key codes and modifiers.

Summary
Resolve and match plus-key shortcuts packages/shared/src/keybindings.ts, packages/shared/src/htmlRender.ts, apps/web/src/keybindings.test.ts
shortcutKeyFromEvent now accepts modifier state and handles unshifted, non-Alt + events using the layout key, except for Digit codes. The HTML matcher applies a corresponding direct match. Tests cover BracketRight, Minus, and Digit1 codes, plus Alt- and Shift-modified cases.
Issue 26383 reports that Ctrl + + does not zoom in with a German keyboard layout on Linux. This change updates plus-key shortcut matching for layout-specific events.

Full details: Linked Issues check
Explanation
The PR addresses #26383. shortcutKeyFromEvent preserves an unshifted, non-Alt + for non-number-row keys, so German Ctrl++ does not match the mod+] navigation binding and remains available to the desktop zoom accelerator. The inline matcher in htmlRender.ts applies the same rule. The added test covers the dedicated-plus, Nordic, Czech number-row, Alt, and Shift cases. The reported desktop X11 test confirms zoom-in behavior and no navigation.

Explanation
The changes are limited to the shared shortcut matcher, its HTML-render bootstrap copy, and focused keybinding tests. These changes directly support #26383 and preserve existing Shift, Alt, and number-row matching. No unrelated product behavior is changed.

Keep the physical p alias for unshifted + in the guest matcher.
The guest matcher now sends an unshifted + with a non-Digit code through a branch that returns only [l]. On a layout where the KeyP position types +, Ctrl+<that key> no longer matches a p shortcut such as mod+p. The guest does not forward the event, but the app still resolves it as mod+p.
Keep the letter alias in that branch. Keep the code alias dropped, so the dedicated-plus fix still holds.

Upstream pingdotgg#25030 widened synchronizeTerminalOutput to read the selection, but the session wrapper on our tree still passed the narrower terminal type. The web shortcut wrapper now requires shiftKey and altKey, which the merged pingdotgg#26408 zoom-key rule reads; every caller already passes keyboard events.
