ApprovabilityVerdict: Needs Human Approval Macroscope's review found this PR requires human approval — This PR changes the existing snooze workflow across client, mobile, server orchestration, and persisted projections so pending input can be deferred and later resumed. The behavior is well tested but cross-cutting and user-visible, warranting human review. You can add or adjust custom eligibility rules. Learn more. |

- Around line 185-189: Update the pending-request ordering in
threadShellFromProjection to prioritize blocking requests over user_input
requests before comparing createdAt timestamps. Preserve the existing
newest-first ordering within each request kind.
Review comments at @packages/client-runtime/src/state/threadSettled.ts:
- Line 228: Update the wake-time selection branch in the thread-settled logic to
compare the failure timestamp with shell.pendingUserInputAt and return the later
timestamp, so an earlier visit cannot clear a wake for a subsequent failure. Add
a test case where a question arrives at 10:00, failure occurs at 11:00, and a
visit at 10:30 preserves the 11:00 wake.

runtime request flow so a non-cancelled live response clears the thread snooze
and emits the equivalent of thread.unsnoozed before settlement. Preserve
snoozing for cancelled answers and unrelated pending requests, and ensure
ThreadSettlementService.isSnoozed observes the cleared state when the resumed
run completes.

2026-10-23 verification at 47d699ce09. The integration retains pending-request timestamps, newer-question wake behavior, optimistic remote state, queued-start/approval guards and main projection behavior. Focused affected non-browser tests and scoped lint/format pass. Historical browser/native notes below retain their original revisions; no current client/device acceptance was performed.
Earlier validation counts, review verdicts, CI status and captures below refer to their original revisions; older “current head” wording refers to those revisions. These focused local checks do not certify the whole suite.
Threads waiting for user input cannot be snoozed: mobile omits the action, web/desktop disable it, and the server rejects the command. Allow an explicit snooze to defer an existing direct input request while keeping the question pending and answerable.
Use the question's existing creation timestamp to keep it snoozed until the chosen time, while newer questions still wake it early. Preserve the request in optimistic remote state and acknowledge newer input when snoozing again to the same wake time. This is a focused repair to the existing Snooze workflow; approvals, subagent request guards, and queued-start guards retain their current behavior.
Prioritize blocking requests over deferrable questions in both SQL and memory shell projections. Preserve a later failure wake even when an earlier question is still pending.
