[Bug]: Timeline minimap hover target extends into text content area at non-default zoom levels #3702

So actually turns out this issue isn't exclusive to zoom. It happens at normal zoom level with the sidebar open (depending on how wide the sidebar is).
This means also the overall size of the window can affect it too.
A current report with Chat width → Wide is tracked in #16447. The preview opens over response text and blocks text selection.
Maintainer triage identifies a separate path: #3869 fixed the collapsed strip’s hit area, while the open preview still expands its hit area across the text.

Expected behavior
The minimap hover target should stay scoped to the gutter/dash area regardless of zoom level; it shouldn't bleed into the text content region.
Actual behavior
The minimap's popover preview activates even though the cursor is visibly over body text, not the gutter — see attached screenshot (cursor is circled, clearly over the paragraph text, not the dash markers).
The main issue this caused for me was the "Copy" button next to the message timestamp disappears because it thinks I'm hovering over the gutter, so I can't use the button. Highlighting text is also tricky when the start/end region is covered by the timeline.

Workaround
Basically just highlight whatever you can with the mouse and use Shift + Arrow keys to highlight the rest. (Or reset to actual size)
