Cannot dismiss the plan overlay after agent calls the planning tool #273

Description

When an agent invokes the planning tool, T3 Code displays a plan overlay showing the generated plan and its steps (e.g., In progress, Pending, etc.).

However, there is currently no way to dismiss or collapse this overlay after it appears. The panel remains visible in the UI even after the plan has been reviewed or execution has moved forward.

This becomes distracting during longer sessions because the overlay persists and occupies space in the interface without any control to hide it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start a task with an agent.
  2. Have the agent call the planning tool and generate a plan.
  3. The plan overlay appears in the UI.

Expected Behavior

Users should be able to:

  • Dismiss or close the plan overlay.
  • Collapse the plan panel after reviewing it.
  • Optionally reopen it later if needed.

Actual Behavior

  • The plan overlay appears automatically.
  • There is no UI control to dismiss or collapse it.
  • The overlay remains visible throughout the session.

Suggested Fix

Possible improvements:

  • Add a close (×) button to dismiss the overlay.
  • Allow the plan panel to be collapsible.
  • Automatically collapse the plan once execution begins.

Environment

  • T3 Code (Alpha)
  • macOS (Apple Silicon)

Prompt

When an agent calls the planning tool in T3 Code, the UI renders a plan overlay showing the generated plan and its steps (e.g., "In progress", "Pending"). This overlay currently has no way to be dismissed or collapsed, so it stays visible for the rest of the session.

Modify the UI so the plan overlay can be dismissed or collapsed by the user (e.g., add a close button or collapsible panel). The goal is to allow users to hide the plan after reviewing it while keeping the rest of the workflow unchanged.
