[Bug]: approval command is truncated by "..." and there is no way to see the full command #22799
Current main wraps and scrolls approval text in the web approval panel, and the client shows the request prompt unchanged, so the truncation may come from the provider's request text itself (Claude can send a summary or a command prefix; Codex prefers the reason over the command). Which provider and mode were active, and can you share a screenshot plus the exact version?
Mode: Full access (so I also shouldn't be getting an approval prompt at all, same as the original report)
Version: T3 Code (Beta) desktop 0.1.1 on macOS, Claude Code 2.1.309 locally. The thread runs on a remote Linux host.
This permission prompt is for a sub agent BTW.
The approval card shows only one line, cut off with an ellipsis:
cd /home/dashorst/workspaces/dashorst-agent/works…
The command starts with a cd, so the visible part is just the path, and the command that actually runs after it is hidden. I can't see what I'm approving.
Reproduced on main fef851bee0, Linux web dev with Claude Opus 5.5 in Supervised mode: a 1,508-character Bash command without an optional description produced an approval detail containing only a 50-character provider title ending in …. With the full command supplied as the description, the same card wraps and scrolls to the end. Both approvals were declined. Full access ran the native subagent command without prompting. Electron/macOS was not exercised.
This is the same missing-command defect tracked in #20146. Existing #20145 changes this Claude path to show the complete command instead of the provider title. Closing as a duplicate.

Same here, answering the questions above:
