[Bug]: Full command not visible in Command approval request box #1534
Approval requests now use the current composer approval state and expose the full approval detail instead of the old fixed-width request box. The UI from 0.0.15 no longer exists.
This was closed as part of a large repo-wide maintenance sweep. If you think it's still relevant, please reopen.
I'm still seeing this on a recent build (0.0.27) and would like this reopened.
In Supervised mode, when the agent requests approval for a long shell command, the command is truncated (with ...) and there is no way to expand it, scroll it, or copy the full text before approving. Resizing the window does not reveal the rest of the command.
The close comment says approval requests now "expose the full approval detail instead of the old fixed-width request box," but that doesn't match what I'm seeing. The truncated detail appears only as placeholder text in the disabled composer, which is easy to miss and still truncated.
From the current code, approval detail is still truncated server-side at 180 characters via truncateDetail() in ProviderRuntimeIngestion.ts when handling approval.requested events.
I can't reliably review what I'm approving when commands are long, which makes Supervised mode hard to use safely.
Could this be reopened? Happy to provide version/commit, platform details, and a screenshot if helpful.
