Transcript: pass the paid end-to-end check on Omarchy #23

Open

Description

@pascalandy

Problem

M1 ships v0.1.0 once the paid end-to-end check of ncly transcript passes on macOS. Omarchy is not part of that gate.

On Linux, YouTube needs the cookies of a browser that is signed in to YouTube. The transcript CLI reads them from Arc today, and Arc does not exist on Linux. Without cookies, yt-dlp falls back to anonymous access, which YouTube usually refuses.

Done when

  • A browser on Omarchy is signed in to YouTube and named in the local config, through the browser setting that the M1 transcript spec defines
  • The paid end-to-end check from the transcript README passes on Omarchy, in a local session
  • The row "Transcript on Omarchy" leaves M99
