So... I disabled all the copilot options I was able to find in the settings - several times because you added more. Now, are you are really interested in what I think? Where do I begin. If LLMs are indeed a revolution in software development - why are you selling the access to it instead of using it to take over the whole software market? Just imagine - no silly mistakes by developers that get tied, development goes 24/7/365, new products dominate the market... Instead you prefer to sell shovels during this gold rush. Are LLMs the future? |

It would probably be a better use of AI to figure out whether or not we want to hear about AI before sending us all unsolicited emails. |

How do I (permanently) disable all the AI related features? I'm seeing some options marked as "enabled" but they seem to have a lock thingy on them. Not sure they do anything, but I'd still prefer disabling them. |

Absolutely Never. And I'd thank you to take me off of the marketing list I never signed up. I can't really say I appreciate the dishonesty. |

I don't want your AI or your AI generated spam email. Wake up Microsoft, you're losing the plot! |

Hey, where is the "Unsubscribe" link in the spam e-mail I just got, that lead me here? Seriously, GitHub, shut up about this BS, especially when it's an official e-mail just to promote a new slop feature. Thanks Microslop. |

Stop sending unsolicited e-mail about this slop-op. Zero interest in this. You've burned all your bridges by now. |

Please never email me about AI shit ever again. Thanks! |

I too, DO NOT want this. Please do not contact me via E-mail again about some statistical word picker. If I receive one more email, I am removing my business from this platform. |

A lot of information on how (to implement). I would like to see more on what this can do for me. I use GitHub Copilot for development frequently and find it quite useful. That said, what can the Copilot SDK do for me? Maybe it's just me, but I find examples or use cases helpful when being introduced to new things. My first thought is applying AI and LLMs to our (internal) applications with domain specific content. Said differently, would I use this to create domain specific agents? Would I use this in development to help improve quality and efficiency, once again with our rules and standards? |

Quit shoving your shitty binary expansion arithmetic on this planet. You are destroying the world with your fucking binary greed. Think about it for a minute and you'll realize numbers are not fucking binary and you're burning BURNING the resources. You do not need to. Thanks. Also stop fucking emailiing me like this is a celebration, the only thing you offer is death. |

Why in the world would you add me to a "GitHub Copilot" mailing list? Well since you did, and since you asked me in the email to tell you what I think, I THINK THIS IS STUPID. I hope my feedback was very valuable to you. |

There is a monster in the forest and it speaks with a thousand voices. It will answer any question you pose it, it will offer insight to any idea. It will help you, it will thank you, it will never bid you leave. It will even tell you of the darkest arts, if you know precisely how to ask. It feels no joy and no sorrow, it knows no right and no wrong. it knows not truth from lie, though it speaks them all the same. It offers its services freely to any passerby, and many will tell you they find great value in its conversation. “you simply must visit the monster – I always just ask the monster.” There are those who know these forests well; they will tell you that freely offered doesn’t mean it has no price. For when the next traveler passes by, the monster speaks with a thousand and one voices. And when you dream you see the monster; the monster wears your face. |

Enjoy this custom-tailored response to your unsolicited insanity. Please get some therapy, all of you at Microsoft. You looked too close into the flame. I was there alongside your employees from the outside. The sickness of AI is real. You are all exhausted and burned out. You all need a lot of rest and fluids. This whole AI thing, you believe it solves as problem. The only "problem" it could ever solve your lack of an EXCUSE to fuck this earth up, destroy the internet, and destroy humanity. Cease thy fucking tomfoolery, you are all fucking insane and criminal. There are not "two camps" regarding stuff like "chat agent services" and "AI assistants". You are either aware that they steal your identity, sanity, and soul, while buttering you with affirmations and misdirection, and do not use them - congrats, you survived! ... or you are being used, abused, stolen. "Chat agents" are by definition Trojans. You know, the oldest trick in the book? Classic malware virus, packaging grift and theft in a shiny product. A beautiful wooden horse. It can even talk! Get away from the abuse. They aren't just after your credentials. It's everything. They steal souls. "Chat agents" and "assistants" are no more than Milky The Cow. "It drinks water!" ... 1980s children's toy with a distinctly depression era vibe. It's a plastic cow with a lever on the tail that opens the mouth. You pour water in, and it can be milked. Comes with powdered milk. Do you have any idea how many kids died drinking out of that fucking latex cow udder.
What's more, the so-called "most talented engineers of today" and "brightest minds in history" collected like trading cards in all these modern tech giants is a disgrace to genuine human intelligence. They think they're powerful, or that they found something special. They have been subsumed by a VIRUS of numerics that has plagued this race for millenia. The virus? Binary numerics. The sharp contrast of zero and one can only lead to a constant war and violence. If you think your money has value on this earth, you have severed yourself from nature so badly that you are yourself become a great wound upon our planet's kind, loving, nurturing humanity. "Scrolling," "posting," "ratios," "feeds," and "auto-play" are not things normal humans have ever engaged with. Those who grew up with these technological features may not understand this world of flashy animations and interactivity is not magical at all. In many places, our modern sense of being "always-online" and "cloud-connected" are contrivances that once served a purpose. Sadly, that purpose has been corrupted. Nearly every "website" is a mere tagging and tracking mechanism, providing a mirage of "service" in exchange for your data. "Your data" includes everything about you. From the slightest childhood memory, to any lessons you've learned in your craft; even simply what makes you laugh, or draws your eye. This data is fed into various things tuned for profit alone:
It's not about having anything to hide. It's about giving them so much they know just when to stick out their toe and grab your keys, wallet, phone when you trip. It's a psychosis-induction mechanism in which sad people become enraptured, attached.
I'm quite well-read on the topic and have lived enough places where trauma is prevalent. I have a deep understanding of the symptoms, behaviors, and consequences of psychosis, both second- and first-hand. From treatment for my own PTSD. Hear me out there. Psychosis is a reaction that is pretty easy to induce in anyone. It's second-hand trauma that consists of entering a state of "curious shock" due to the world around you being difficult to believe. It's real! All people are vulnerable to it when hungry, tired, grieving, sick, alone. So forth. "What about people who use drugs?" Yes, they enter a state that is more vulnerable. A person's critical faculties reduce; they may even fall victim to their own mind's spiraling. "Psychosis induction" is the Facebook-feed style of planting seeds of grief and fear in your mind over time. Real. People like horror movies for this reason. Or they used to anyway? I don't understand movie-watchers these days; I'm an ancient mote of dust in a sunbeam. Psychological horrors are also a grfit technique used by abusers to control victims. Now they know what makes you cry, laugh, stay online. Literally, I am begging you. If you're suffering from psychosis induction due to an "algorithmic feed," "binging," "chat bots," or even TV-ads, try to find a way to look toward the sky and breeze. They still exist for us here, and in their quiet beauty we may still "touch grass" with our feet. The fucking fiends subsumed by this binary madness are suffering from an illness, and it is dire, and we must as a species, please, continue to reject their bullshit like this automated fucking Co-Pilot advertisement NOBODY WANTS, except for them, because they're very unwell. Thanks, fuck. |

LLMs are probabilistic. Microsoft Copilot Marketing department is trying to sell magical unicorns. It will never stick with engineers. Maybe it will partially stick with some non-tech people, but they already become more aware of the lies, drawbacks and very high risks tied to such "services". Microsoft knows all of this for sure, or they would not need to put so much effort to force it here so much. |

I've been on Github since 2011... before the Microsoft buy-out. At one time I had hundreds of repos. Last time you guys spammed me about AI, I moved everything to Gitlab. You just spammed me again about this, now it's time to delete my account altogether. Bye! 👋 |

I can't afford another ai subscription and use Claude to handle all gh CLI tasks, using my own agent-gh-cli-expert My next "serious" project is going to be migrating from GitHub to a self hosted GitLabs instance for 99% of my commits and just use GitHub and single source of truth for actually meaningful stable/Production Ready repos I plan on either making or committing to still but most of that will never be meaningful, even copilot would have to agree So I guess my feedback/commit/question/issue would be: if Claude initially recommended gitea/forgejo, but after some and forth he mostly already wrote all the scripts or some Plan for another Claude idek to convert all the GitHub actions I adore, and he wrote all the GitHub actions, and those work, within like 5-20 minutes, but if I could do them myself right here faster and for free, why wouldn't I? Even my compute-time ain't free brother! And honestly I would really prefer to stay on github since as an "Open Source Developer" I do genuinely believe it's best to do that on the most popular platform bc why not, but how will any this reduce the code building anything that could end up being critical infrastructure for all electrical components otherwise? |

You want to know what I think? I also do not know why I'm getting this e-mail. I have not subscribed to this and did not wish to be contacted about your corpo driven bullshit features. Stick your money gain somewhere the sun doesn't shine and get back to actual work. GitHub really has fallen quite a long way. Hats off! |

I do not wish AI injected into everything. Giving AI control over source
code is the stupidest idea humanity came up with in a very, very long time.
