I solved the problem. I noticed that GitHub had previously emailed me explaining in more detail what to do. I then simply re-entered my credit card information (nothing had actually changed). Then the amount was withdrawn immediately from the card and the yellow message disappeared. For the record, here is the email I received:
I suggest, that you define more clearly what "update your payment information" means. It is not clear that it means: "input your credit card data again in the options, even if it has not changed". |
