Purpose

Test-only follow-up for issue #62. Windows/macOS is not required to verify this Web DOM clipping mechanism. No production behavior changes or release.

Coverage

• Run the exact v1.4.10 bundle and current main against the same normal-flow header and real overflow-scroll DOM
• Scroll an annotated passage behind the header and compare highlight paint eligibility and numbered markers
• Temporarily enable highlight hit-testing only during observation: elementsFromPoint otherwise excludes pointer-events:none elements and cannot prove clipping
• Restore persisted annotations, scroll back, resize the header, and verify conversation header clipping does not erase sidebar highlights
• Baseline must demonstrate the historical overlap; current main must show no overlap

Validation

• Existing npm run check: 73/73 passed
• Browser script syntax and git diff check passed
• Real browser execution pending this CI run; not claimed locally passed
