Adding endpoint parameter in the mlx.core.linspace to make it more flexible and compliant with Array API #4152

Closed

Description

@aaishwarymishra

Currently mlx.core.linspace has no endpoint parameter like its counter parts in numpy and jax, which makes the method more flexible by allowing users to choose whether to include stop value or not.

I think it would be nice addition to the mlx and will also make its api closer to Array API standard data-apis/array-api-compat#452

Expected behaviour:

a = mx.core.linspace(0,10,endpoint=True) # either true or false if user wants to include 10 or not
