Target Search & Target Filter Project Outline

Project outline is a great tool to find related source files, however it lacks search by target. When working with a large project, navigating gigantic tree of directories to find a necessary project becomes unfeasible. Are there any plans to add a search bar for this window or any other way to see a specific target?

Just type the name of the target and see what happens. This is a VSCode issue.

I see that it highlights items matched by search, however this is far from optimal - if the directory is not expanded, nested files are not highlighted. What I am looking for is more of a filter, which would show only targets which match search string, kinda like actions prompt. I don't know where is the right place to ask for this - vscode itself, or this plugin.

The three search stuff (I believe) is a VSCode functionality, whose implementation/design is a bit dodgy (it is related to all tree-like panes).
The CMake: Project Outline is populated by the extension, whose implementation I find to be buggy and that it needs fixing first but that is a separate issue.
