Why do we need a GitHub token?

Please clarify in the README why APM requires a github access token

And is not actually required. So I would suggest clarifying that in the README as people may feel uncomfortable giving an access token

It should be possible to add OAuth and enable login flow similar to codex and gh cli

So, indeed, we don't need it. We need a PAT for private repo access and another one for "apm run" but that's optional. This is now fixed in the readme.
