Summary

Epic 993 — the NO-9 library example, deferred until NO-12 (#388) closed the workflow-package DTO gap. Now that AgentOverrides round-trips through packages, this ships the example.

  • workflows/node-overrides-demo-v1-package.json — a self-contained reference workflow. Its Agent node references a shared, deliberately-modest node-overrides-demo-runner agent but carries an agentOverrides overlay: a different model, larger token / tool-call / wall-clock / non-mutating budgets, and the echo / now host tools — without forking the agent.
  • WorkflowsEndpointsTests.ApplyPackageImport_NodeOverridesDemoLibraryPackage_RoundTripsAgentOverrides — end-to-end import assertion that every override field lands on the persisted node, mirroring the transform-demo library test.
  • docs/features/node-overrides.md — drops the now-stale "package export/import doesn't carry overrides" limitation and adds a See-also pointing at the example.

Test plan

  • ApplyPackageImport_NodeOverridesDemoLibraryPackage_RoundTripsAgentOverrides — passing (import clears admission + validation, all override fields persist)
  • Library example is self-contained — no external role/skill/MCP refs; echo / now are real host-catalog tools

Closes out the NO-9 / NO-12 follow-up tracked on sc-1008.

…9 follow-up)

The NO-9 library example was deferred until NO-12 closed the package DTO gap.
Now that AgentOverrides round-trips through the workflow-package path, ship it:

- workflows/node-overrides-demo-v1-package.json — a self-contained reference
workflow whose Agent node references a shared modest runner agent but
carries an agentOverrides overlay (different model, larger token/tool-call/
  wall-clock/non-mutating budgets, + echo/now host tools).
- WorkflowsEndpointsTests.ApplyPackageImport_NodeOverridesDemoLibraryPackage —
end-to-end import assertion that every override field lands on the
persisted node, mirroring the transform-demo library test.
- docs/features/node-overrides.md — drop the now-stale "package export/import
doesn't carry overrides" limitation, add a See-also pointing at the example.
